Reviews for Seven Days
I was both happy and sad when I went to my inbox and saw you had updated this. I think you ended it on the right note though - nothing too dull, nothing too flashy. Just like the rest of your tale: comfortable, inviting and wonderful. :)
Thank you for sharing.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Thanks for reading and for your nice review. I couldn't leave on a "they lived happily ever after" note, it wouldn't have fit with the rest of the tale. I'm so glad you appreciate it.
That was really cute, although technically it was 14 days. But great story with well written characters!Keep up the great work!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
The story is told in slices of seven days, hence the title. Thanks so much for reading and letting me know your opinion.
again awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww and yeah cat is out of yjr bag
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Yes, the cat is out of the bag and frolicking in the Great Hall ;) Thanks for reading.
Oooooh, so is there a part three? With children and happiness? Please? Great chapter!gab
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Thanks! If I ever come to write a third part, it would be much later indeed, but happiness in a couple comes with thorns, you know. And there would be thorns if I ever write it.
I'm so sad it's over. If by any hasard you have a bit of time ahead of you, plesae think about a third part.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Your comment warms my heart. I'd love to write a third part, but I don't think I'll ever come around it. Too many things are happening in my life right now, I couldn't concentrate on writing a third part.
Now I'm scared to find out how everyone will handle their "coming out". Minerva sure got a shock! hehe. She had it coming, nosy woman!Livvy
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Yes, she did. As for everybody's reactions, you're free to imagine it.
Oh no... that last word just screams Trouble! And Trouble usually appears in the form of Ron and Harry, so I can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Er, there's no next chapter. But I'm glad you picked up on the last word. I was going to write a lemon, but that word wouldn't budge. It only means that all married lives get rocky one day. It doesn't mean the couple will come to an end, but it's something you have to deal with.
Yes, they finally went public even if it is in a small way!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
I think small will become big in no time, you know.
What a tastless bunch of morons. One would think that with Kingsley as the Minister, they would have had a bit more sense.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
But Kingsley has more important things to do than choosing the decoration...
I love that by the end of the day they are no longer able to keep from touchin each other. I hope they tell McGonnagle soon, or she is going to work herself in to a real state!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
She 's going to work herself in a real state before they get to tell her, before the end of the story.

"Coming to that understanding has deprived of us of five minutes..." Now THERE'S Snape in full... Snape-ness! I don't know whether to chuckle or slap him.
Also, I'm not sure that even on a tight schedule I could leave Severus in the morning with an erection like that. Hermione certainly has better sense than I, the wanton.
Only one more day? *sniff*
Author's Response: Do both. He might like it.
I don't know if I could either, but they have responsibilities we don't.
Yes, one more day. Too much is happening in real life to let me write more.
THANKS FOR PIMPING MY STORY ON YOUR DEVIANTART ACCOUNT!
lulabelle72's response: It was my pleasure! You rock.
I suppose the portraits need to entertain themselves somehow. Betting on and intruding in the life of the Headmaster must be their greatest form of entertainment.Wonderful chapter.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Especially in time of peace. What else can they do?Thank you.
It is such a sweet beginning, especially for Severus. I am so glad he has dropped his plan to have her just so she can repair his reoutation. he needs some softness and love in his life, and she ids the one to do it.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Yes, Severus's initial plan has been bended somewhat to accomadate his new feelings. I'm glad you like it.
Gossip amoung one's colleuges. How true. How bloody irritating.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Indeed. But unavoidable.
That is one thing Ron has always done wrong. He constantly nags and pressures Hermione into doing things now or his way. Severus has realised that it will take patience and time, and in the end, he will win the girl!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
A man who's loved the same woman for 16 years after her death can certainly afford to wait months for a woman he really wants in his life for good. And he knows her enough to know how to win her ;)
I love the fact that Hermione stood so firm in her convictions, and was not willing to let anyone tell her how to manage her future. And now, to the close scrutiny at Hogwarts...
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
I don't think she's the kind of girl who would.
Are you planning on a third part or will next chapter be the last. Because I don't want this to end. I like it too much.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Alas, there's no third part. I'm so very flattered you think so highly of this story, and in truth, I had once played with the idea of a third part, but real life has caught up. 2008 is a very intense year for me, and I think I'll stick to drabbles and short stories for the time being. Thank you for reading.
what was the Ministry thinking with those automatons.. oh that's right, the Ministry isn't known for thinking!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
LOL you get it right!
How tasteless! so Funny! Dreadful, but what would one expect from the Ministry? not good sense or good taste. This is such a delightful story! Thank you.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
And thanks for reading; I couldn't imagine the Ministry think up something tasteful.
Oh gawd, the MoM is as tasteless as ever, why would Albus's (even in painting form) be pensive?
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Did you expect better from them? as for the beard stroking, it really doesn't have much sense. Dumbledore is simply considering the miracle of love and stroke his beard like others twirl their hair around their fingers.
Response from sinbad (Reviewer)
You're right I didn't expect MoM to behave any better, however the beard stroking in my opinian is a bit more, as the senteance said he was pensively stroking his beard.......... see you next chapter :)
Nice touch with the portraits looking on - Severus is always wanting to rush the cart before the horse- he wants the relationship to fast forward but he is missing the good parts of it forming and just being. Like as a child, you want to be a grown-up. As a grown-up, you think why did I try to wish my youth away.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
I'm fond of the portrait, and it felt natural to have them commenting. As for Severus, he'll learn, I trust.
"young love"... :) indeed.I love the calm before the storm. Can't wait to see what's up next!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Except that there's no storm coming. I think our heroes have suffered through storms enough and deserves a bit of respite and happiness. The next and last chapter is in the queue.
Response from baseballbabe122 (Reviewer)
Aww. "The end is near!!" *sad face*That's alright. :) The ride along the way has been wonderful! Thanks for sharing your writing abilities with the rest of us. I'd much rather be reading than sitting in front of a tv set for hours.
Automatons? That seems exactly like the sort of disgusting thing the Ministry would force- especially one showing Severus' attack.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
That's my thought too. They really disgusted me as soon as I made the up.

Very good story! I do get a bit worried when Snape gets annoyed with her and ONLY suppresses it because he's trying to seduce her. But I suppose that by the time these two finally become involved romantically, Hermione is strong enough to deal with his behavior. He can be trained, Hermione!
I would sooo love a walk around Sydney with Severus...
Author's Response:
If Hermione could put up with two hormonal teenagers during months of boring camping, I think she can put up with a snapping Snape.
*sigh* wouldn't we all?
