Reviews for Seven Days
I didn't think their relationship would be up so quickly. Not that I complain of course. It's a nice surprise.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
They've spent one year practically living together; they've had a lot of time to get to know each other, don't you think?
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
That's not what I meant. I just didn't think you would transpose the story one year later. That is a nice surprise.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
*g* I'm glad you like the way I did it.
Needed this chapter here, you did well
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Thank you very much.
awe.... that was a cute way to end the chapter, and I think if the other teachers are going to gossip, they should jsut start going at it like rabbits in the teachers room one day...
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Gossip is unavoidable in such a confined environment. As for the teachers' room, maybe one day, but beyond the limits of this fic ;)
Well at least they had the first kiss - it was a good chapter. I can see everyone at Hogwarts all forming an opinion on the relationship and gossiping. It is very true to form. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Hogwarts is a small world in which a small number of people live together most of the year; gossip is bound to happen.
Wow - the scene with Severus by himself in the bedroom was so sensual - very good. I liked the set-up with Hermione talking to her mother about a relationship possibility with Severus - it is good to set them both up on the same page even though the do not know it.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
I loved writing that scene. I put a lot in it.I think that by now, they both have an inkling that they're on the verge of a relationship. Hermione just needed to clear her mind about it.

Well, this went well - and this time, they managed all right. I kept waiting for something eles to happen, though *grin*.
Author's Response: Oh, this is only the first step. Something else will happen before the end of the story ;)
Alcina vom Steinsberg's response: I suppose I wasn't clear enough - I didn't mean this kind of "something else", but another interruption or disturbance or another "muscle incident", as they had already been interrupted two times...
Author's Response: Did you see my mind? I think I've lost it in the gutter... The disturbance will merely be real life and the preparations for Voldemort's defeat anniversary.
Severus is very close to getting what he wants... and now is the time he gets to enjoy his hard work.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
So close, so very close indeed. His patience (he had to endure Hermione's relationship with Ron for a while) will be rewarded.

Oh, such a sweet ending! Very good chapter. The writing was wonderful, excellent flow. Will these two get some private time in the near future? I see our days slipping away...!
Author's Response: Thank you. And yes, they will, before the end of the week. Severus promised himself as much.
Great chapter, I'd love to have a better insight on Minerva. I suspect she would be the female authority figure Hermione would respect the most.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
I'm afraid Minerva is only a secondary character here, though an important one. Hermione respects her, but she won't let her old teacher dictate her life.
Interesting chapter. I cannot wait to see how he seduces her and especially away for Ron... this should be interesting.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
In fact, all he'll need to do is doing nothing. Hermione is practically living with him, she'll reach the right conclusion on her own.

An entire year, and still nothing really happened... well, well... ;o) I hope he has better luck with his jaw next time. Like falling into her arms when his leg gives way or the like... *g*
Author's Response: There was that little matter of Ron being in the way for a time, then Hermione needed time to realise a few things. But "things" will happen.
Oh---so close!! I hope Minerva butts out--nosy old biddy!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Don't worry, it's not as if Severus or Hermione are the kind to let the others make the decision for them. Thanks for reading.
This seems to be the first time Hermione has realised Severus was manipulating her. Hopefuly by the time she realises the extent of his manipulation she will be to far gone...
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
LOL it'll be like that, but she's learning too, you know. Their future will probably be very enjoyable.
Poor Severus. What an awful situation for such a proud and private man to be in. Luckily for him Hermione is such a quick thinker!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Hermione proved her abilities at Godric's Hollow and at the Lovegoods, so I thought it wouldn't be far-fetched to make her able to deal with such a situation.
I can't quite figure out where his head is at the moment. i know he wants to use Hermioen to regain his standing in the wizarding world, but he seems to be enjoying her company more each time he sees her. I think he may be getting in deeper than he thought!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
You're quite right, he's getting in deeper than he thought.
Severus seems to be feeling slightly better noe that he has some schemes in progress. I cant wait to see what he is plannig for Australia.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
To keep the mind occupied, that's the key!
Poor Snape. I don't blame him for holding such a grudge against the three of them. If they had just checked to see if he was even alive... Oh well, I suppose he will have to learn to live with his disabilities.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Yes, I didn't like that part in canon, the three young people not touching him. For heaven's sake, he was dying! But now, he's alive and as you say, he'll have to live with his disabilities.
Yay! I was upset when I thought you would end the story after just seven days. I can't wait to read more, keep up the great work!
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Thank you. The story will be complete in 14 chapters.
Good grief, why has he taken a year to get the girl, what has he been doing the old slow poke LOL
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
What is a year when your goal is a life-long commitment? She has to come to him of her own free will.
hmmm Hermione is now chasing Severus, wh's chasing Hermione. Her mom approves and Minerva doesn't. Looks like fun is to be had....
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Well, Hermione's mother didn't know Severus since he was a boy. She only met the disabled man who accompanied her daughter in Australia. Poor Minerva.
Poor Severus, what a time for his muscles to fail him! Hopefully they'll both have more luck next time.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
That they will.
Doh... a missed kiss. I know that Severus had plotted and manipulated in order to get Hermione to be with him, but I really can't say there is anthing wrong with it. I mean, how is it any different from any other guy who sees a girl he likes and sets out to get her? Severus just has better intelligence for that sort of thing.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
You might be on to something with that reasoning. Severus has played his cards well, with a lot of patience, never pressuring Hermione.
I can't wait to see how Severus picks apart Ron. Ron is a child for all that he is of age, and Severus has so much more to offer Hermione.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Severus won't need to pick Ron apart. The boy will fade out in the background naturally.
please update soon. it's wonderful so far.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
Thank you.
What an interesting idea, the muscle problem. Quite plausible. And potentially quite humiliating. I like the way Hermione jumps right into organizing things for him just like she does for Harry and Ron. And that he has to keep biting his tongue to keep from chasing her off.
Response from septentrion (Author of Seven Days)
The msucle problem came to me after I did some research on snakes venom's possible effects. I just made some adaptation to suit my purpose. And yes, for Severus, it's humiliating, for he's a man who can't stand lack of self control. What do you want? Hermione is just Hermione ;)
