Reviews for Numb
What a lovely ending. The relationship wasn't rushed, it just sort of happened on its own. Nicely done.

I am just out, looking for old stuff that I have never read. This is a fun start. I will admit that when Hermione jumped into Snapes lap and kissed him I was thinking that it had better be a dream, or there was no way I could continue reading. Lucky for me it was. They are going to have it so bad for one another by the time all is said and done, LOL. :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it (and stuck around to find out it was a dream LOL). Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Wonderful tale! I enjoyed the idea that there were capsules of toxin from Nagini within her victims still. That was a a wonderful twist.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed that twist.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it and didn't want it to end! I haven't decided for sure if there will be a sequel, though I've been toying with one. Thanks for the lovely review!
Are you sure you want to leave off there?I think we need a part two!I'd like to know what happens on weekends,I loved the story though,it makes you wish it could of really ended like this.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
There is hope for a sequel, though I haven't made much headway with it yet. Thanks for letting me know you'd be interested in reading it if I do!
C'mere, little plot bunny...have some nice lettuce....
More of this would be ever so yummy, now that they've begun to figure out how to communicate, and now that she's started to understand why he is as he is and what he's afraid of. And with his help, she could do some very interesting things. Some of them would even be things the children could watch. Not all of them, though.
Very well done!
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Heh, thanks! *plot bunny muches on lettuces* I'm glad you enjoyed this and hope that, if a sequel does happen, you'll like that as well!
Thank you, I really enjoyed this story. It doesn't really feel finished, though. I do hope you'll follow through on the sequel ideas!
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though it doesn't feel finished to you.
Oh, they are coming along so nicely! Even having what for him passes for a civilized conversation!
Will she figure out what his nasty father has to do with his reluctance to use his left arm? Will she show him more interesting things to do with said arm? Will we all be disappointed that this terrific story is almost over already?
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Even having what for him passes for a civilized conversation!
*snicker* That's about the size of it - his version of civilized!
Thanks!
"Requesting funds to purchase powdered bicorn horn and lacewing flies so that he could go screw a whore would be degrading" - he has such a twisted sense of what constitutes acceptable behavior and what does not! You're packing quite a lot into this little fic, and I'm loving it all!
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)

I'm glad that came through!

I like her idea that she can help him if she can psychoanalyze what's getting in his way, and that she can help herself if she concentrates on his problems instead of hers. Silly girl, doesn't she know anything about interpreting dreams? (And if she only knew what his dreams were!)
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Well, you see, that's what comes of dropping Divination. ;-)
Thanks!
Poor Severus - if he's not careful, she'll have him up and around in no time, fulfilling every dream he could ever have! Nicely done!
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Yes, he'll need to watch out for that! lol Thanks!
I love the story but was sad to see it end with this chapter - he is still not ready and in trouble, she is just starting her career and they just shared a kiss.... this feels like the middle of the book and not the end. It was a great story and I do hope you write more - thanks
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked this and it's flattering to hear you would like to see more.
Cute, I liked the 'getting on with life' feel of this chapter, and thank goodness she had 'friends' in triplicate!
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and liked the feel of it.
I just re-read your story and again enjoyed it very much. I think my favourite bit is when Hermione realises that she doesn't know how job-hunting works in the wizarding world.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially the bit about the job-hunting.

Great story so far, I really like it! :o) You had me first with the dream, I thought that this was really too fast before he woke up *g*. The hell part is simply hilarious...
I'm eager to read on!
Author's Response:
Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Yes, just a bit too fast, but he didn't realize he was dreaming at the time either. ;-)
I really like it so far. I look forward to reading more. Soon, I hope?
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! More shall come soon!
Interesting start. I'd love to read more when your muse hits you.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Thanks! There shall be more. It is complete in five chapters, as it was done for the last round of the SSHG_Exchange.
:-) thank you!
:-) thank you!
Well, they are making some headway here. It is a shame that Hermione was ignorant to the job seeking process, but at least she now has a mentor or sorts. I loved that the first time he was unconscious in the hospital, he was making a mess of his room. How very like him, LOL.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
I had a feeling some of that "seventh year" stuff just had to fall through the cracks. I'm glad this rang true.

Oh, dear. Hopefully there won't be any more surprises from that damned snake. Maybe seeing the wound he inflicted on Hermione both physically and emotionally will be the catalyst for a better attitude. Or not. Off to find out ...
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
A catalyst for something, in any case! I'm glad to hear that came through.

Poor Hermione. Noone seems to understand her. I hope she has some luck in figuring out how to help Snape, and how to let Ron down gently.
Response from firefly124 (Author of Numb)
Being misunderstood does seem to be her fate. I'm glad this resonated for you.

Oh, that was both sweet and utterly unsatisfying! Ugh! More, please?

I like it, nice simple ending but with plenty of potential for the reader to imagine.
