Miss Granger, I am well aware of the fact that this letter is inappropriate; still, I find it impossible not to write it.

Reviews for Love Letter
I confess that, if given the choice, I prefer to be sarcastic rather than to seem stupid. -- Yep, that's our boy.I have abandoned both my worthless soul and my black, cruel heart many long years ago, being certain that I am better off without them. Therefore, it is surprisingly painful to realise that now, when it is far too late, I could do with a little heart and at least a small piece of my soul. I would give both to you...I growl only because otherwise I would start begging.::snif::VERY nice indeed!
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Glad you liked the letters - both of them - and so thank you very much for reviewing!
Hurrah! I gather that this is the letter. *Beams* Lovely.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Yep, that's the one. Glad you liked it!
This is so cool! The Letter does tend to be rather soppy and drivel on a little bit; rather pathetic for Snape! But I could see he gushing his guts out in a letter he did not intend to give her. And his confessions of stalking her and suggesting she strengthen her wards ... if he had the opportunity, would he cherish her? Or would he be wicked with her? I, being one who does not accept that Ron and Hermione should ever be togeter, there is a world of possibility here. And in that, what I liked best is the ending. Pitching a letter into a fire in a magical place is inviting it to be delivered to the addressed party. The imagination runs wild with this!

I married Ron and Hermione in another story, but there, they are not happy together - I cannot see them together happily, either. I hope you found the sequel to the letter ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
Wonderful story!
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Thank you so very much!

Thank you so very much!
Severus has a heart of gold, and yet he cannot see this in himself. Wouldn't it be wonderful if he were to have a change of heart about himself, and allow his love for Hermione to be known to her? Now I must read the sequal, "Another Love Letter." I like your stories.Beth
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Hi, Beth, sometimes, it takes a while until I answer a review - sorry for that, and thanks for reading and reviewing the letter. I'm very glad you like my stories!
A bit OOC in strict canon but great writing, and well I'm a sucker for this anyway. I am off to read the next part. :-)
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
I pondered on it for a day now and wonder - where is it out of canon (apart from Snape being alive, of course?)But thanks a lot for reviewing - that's the reason why I write this stuff ;-)
Response from reets67 (Reviewer)
You are correct, but what I was taking into consideration that according to according to JKR's Epilogue is that:Hermione and Ron marry and have Rosie and HugoHarry BELIEVES Snape to be dead as he spoke in past tense to Albus Severus(that is why I wrote STRICT canon in my review ) Now this is where it gets fuzzy. I suppose at least for the fan fiction writers, no mention of Snape's body gives a hell of a lot of latitude to play with - Yay! But I still take Canon to mean he is dead as that was JKRs intention - Hmmm. I also have the predilection of following JKR's interviews and taking as what she says as being close to canon. So I suppose my definition of Canon more restrictive than than most. However, I really love a good story - canon or not canon. Thankyou, as it is certainly not easy to write well, and as well as you do.Cheers :-)
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Ah, well, I simply ignore what the lady wrote, as I just don't like it. In my opinion, it is only one version of what could have happened, and it is certainly not the version that is true in my world. Some of my stories are strictly canon (few, though), most are not. If someone told me now "But Snape is dead" I would answer "No, he's not."Argh. I'm twisted. And I won't stop writing *g*
Very beautiful! SAdly it is more likely than the happy-ending stories we love to read. I see a number of reviewers had the same idea i did, of a house elf delivering the letter. I don't usually ask for more chapters when a story is marked done, but I am delighted to read in your replies to other reviews that you have a sequel coming along!
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
There will be a house elf... but no, no one will find Severus's letter.
Please let me know if you liked the sequel!
Bittersweet and sad... poor Severus.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
He gets her in the end ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
That is a one-shot? AAAAAAGH. Now, don't get me wrong, I really loved it, although he is stalking the poor woman, but I believe it would also make a good beginning to a longer story. But then again, I'm all for happy endings, and I don't think Hermione would really marry Ron.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Hehe, One-shot doesn't mean that there can't be a sequel...
Thanks for reviewing!
"I long to be near you, to see and touch the books you own....". If anying proves these two are soul mates, this quote does. Since the letter didn't burn could we have a sequel where a house-elf finds it and delivers it to Hermione? After all, Ron would only want to touch her books to move them to make way for a quiddich poster.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Hope you don't mind - I used your idea and put it in the sequel "Another Love Letter" (Ron putting up a Quidditch poster, that is).
Thanks a lot for reviewing!

I think I will use this in the sequel (Ron moving her books to make way for a Quidditch poster). Thanks for that hint, and more thanks for reviewing!
Beautifully written.
I would leap away from Ron and straight into Severus' arms if he wrote me such a letter *sigh*
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
So would I - but he didn't give her the letter, did he? Oh, no, it was her who made it all right ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
That was great and I love how you left it with the letter not being destroyed. Leaves open the possibility that it could somehow find its way into Hermione's hands.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
:-) It does - after she gave her the letter she'd written. Thanks for reviewing!
You ARE already writing a sequel, right/ Somehow the house elf finds the letter and brings it to Hermione? Please? Pretty please???This was WONDERFUL:) Gave me goose bumps and shivers:)Warm regardsFizzabella
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
To ease your worries: The sequel is already in the queue ;-)
And I am really pleased that I managed to give you shivers and goose bumps - that's why I wirte!

Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Hi, there, and sorry for not responding sooner. You've found the sequel, so I guess all is well ;-)
Oh man, let her find the letter! Or another letter since he burned this one. Maybe she has Harry's map and knows Severus is watching her, following her. She'd like it, I'm sure.
*pokes for a sequel in Hermione's POV*
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Dearest
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
, OF COURSE there will be a sequel. Couldn't let it end there, could I? Look out for "Another Love Letter" in the next few days *grin*
Nice suffering, very touching. I notice the letter wasn't destroyed though. What if a helpful house elf found it whilst cleaning the fire place and decided to deliver it? How would dear miss Granger react, I wonder? Maybe there could be a sequel to this?
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Maybe the sequel is already in the queue? Called Another Love Letter?
*ggg*
Thanks so much for reviewing!
I like the fact that he didn't give her the letter. Severus was always prideful, and perhaps, he will garnish the courage to try to live again.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
That is a definite yes. He will live - with her, as she is braver than him ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
omg is there gonna be a sequel????
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Of course there is a sequel, should be up in a few days. Didn't want to say so in the A/N to tease my readers a bit, though *g*
Thanks a lot for reviewing!
Heart-rending. The poor man! I think you need to write us a sequel with a *cough* happy ending *cough*.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Just between you and me *whisper* The sequel is already in the queue :-)))
Thanks for taking the time to review!
So sad! For many years, ever since the release of OotP, I've been unable to see Severus Snape as anything other than a tragic figure. It's clear that Lily was just about the only person who ever showed him kindness or affection -- DH certainly demonstrated that Dumbledore wasn't quite as compassionate towards him as some fanfiction writers have portrayed him as being. People like Severus who were neglected and bullied as children often grow up believing on some level that they must not be good enough to deserve being loved (as this Severus clearly does not) or at the very least that other people are more often than not a source of pain rather than pleasure -- it's not to hard to see how Severus might have developed a nasty and sarcastic personality, either deliberately or unconsciously, in order to keep other people at a distance so that they can't get close enough to hurt him. I hope that this story has a sequel in which Hermione proves Severus wrong...but I also know that at least in real life, many stories like this don't have a happy ending.
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Luckily, this isn't real life. I decided that I shall completely ignore the ending of DH, as I really, really can't live with a dead Severus. This is the reason why I write this stuff: to make me feel better and to share with others my version of things. This is one of those versions, and I would like to know if you like the sequel to this story. Should be up in a few days, it's already in the queue. Thanks for the very detailed review - it means a lot to me!
Well, that ending just screams for sequel, doesn't it?
Maybe a happy one?
Please??
gab
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Well, ok then :-) Sequel is on the way.
Thanks for nudging!
Oh wow! That was intense! I like that you left uncertainty at the end - the letter didn't burn. It didn't seem to go through the floo, though, so we'll have to hope for a house elf. I wonder what she'd think of it. You really communicated despair and self-loathing and obsession... I wonder if this Snape could have a healthy relationship. Are you going to continue? I'd love to see more. Thanks!
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
Well, our Hermione is a strong young woman, and I am certain she could not only make Snape happy, but bring out his true nature, which is obviously not as twisted as he thinks. If she ever gets that letter, that is *smirk*
I have continued this story. The sequel should be up soon. And many thanks for reviewing!
Oh, he leaves the room and it doesn't burn.... Are you continuing this? Does Dobby or some other house elf deliver this by accident trying to 'help' the potions master. Oooooh.... please write a second chapter with Hermione's reaction.... I just can't wait! Hugs, Muggle Mom
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
*g* You won't have to wait long: check back in a few days for Another Love Letter...
Thanks for reviewing! And even more thanks for the hugs!!
Sweet, touching! How about a sequel from Hermione's POV? (In which she doubts her feelings about Ron, preferably?)
Response from chivalric (Author of Love Letter)
I hope you found the sequel, Another Love Letter, where indeed Hermione writes a letter...Thanks for reviewing!
Response from HannahSmith (Reviewer)
Yes, I have found it! Good! I love happy endings!
