Runner-Up in The New Library Awards for Best Humour SS/HG. Prompt: Snape didn’t die and is headmaster at Hogwarts. Hermione has split from Ron (who can keep any kids if there are any) and she is teaching at Hogwarts. Snape has no qualms about exploiting his position as the boss to get what he wants – Hermione. (Written for the SS/HG Winter Exchange 2007.

About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

This story has great dialog but little context. There is no explaining how the characters are feeling, no description of the setting, environment, who is speaking. So the idea behind this story is great, it feels incomplete and this story could be wonderful. I was only able to read 1/2 of this story before it became uninteresting.
As a fan of screw-ball comedy''His Girl Friday'' top of the list, this was pure bliss. It takes an exceptional writer to do dialogue this well, and at such a fast pace. Thank you.

No idea. I discovered her with that fic and never read anything else she wrote, because it all disappeared soon after. My guess is that maybe she was writing original fiction and was advised to remove it. That's just a guess since I don't know her, but I do know some people get that advice.
Oh, the epilogue was priceless! The whole story was a lot of fun, and I'm going to mark it as a favorite, but the epilogue was the icing on the cake. Thoroughly enjoyable.
This story is wonderful,and crazy funny. A very enjoyable wild ride.

First, I love the title. Just had to say that to begin.He'll let her win the battle of allowing Hermione to work there. hehehehhhaaaaaaaaaaa. Oh, I giggled all through this.

That was far too funny. I like the fast pace nature of the story. The Epilogue That Never Was was particularly good.

I committed to the Exchange when I'd only written two or three chapters of CoMC and my eyes were bigger than my stomach! But I was so lucky to get such a great prompt. This was a lot faster and easier to write than a chapter of CoMC, and if anything, fueled my creative fires

My tongue was firmly in cheek when I wrote that. Many things literally made me laugh out loud while I was writing them but I have to admit I was most staggered when Snape announced that children adored him, that he had a way with children. Wooop!
"The Epilogue that Never Was" is cracking me up! It's just dripping sarcasm and pent up angst. That's awesome. :)
