Runner-Up in The New Library Awards for Best Humour SS/HG. Prompt: Snape didn’t die and is headmaster at Hogwarts. Hermione has split from Ron (who can keep any kids if there are any) and she is teaching at Hogwarts. Snape has no qualms about exploiting his position as the boss to get what he wants – Hermione. (Written for the SS/HG Winter Exchange 2007.

Care of Magical Creatures recently received two awards on "Secrets of the Dark Vaults," a Russian fanfic site. Best NC-17 and Best Maxi Translation. The Nine-Year Plan was awarded Best Mini-Fic! I'm delighted to be in translation and to please the readers in Russia!

About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

Okay, I had to read this again since you are breaking my heart with COMC. Very nice. I like the story told through dialogue and how Severus has a way of saying things he doesn't mean. The Weasley Marketing Team/Divorce Settlement was a nice touch too!Hilaria

Rarely have I laughed so hard and enjoyed the pace of a story -- FF or not -- as much as in the case of this one. My hat is off to the author (... if you're not writing professionally, you ought to be!) :)

*slap own head* How I let this pass unread is beyond me. It was hilarious especially the non exixtant epilogue. You trully are one of my favourite author ever.

Absolutely hilarious. I wanted to quote my favorite lines, but I would have had to cut and paste the entire thing. Although, even though it's an oldie, the idea of Severus saying "Please, call me Severus" had me rolling. I could hear every line of this in my head...your fast paced dialogue is amazing. I hope you write another one shot in this style, it was such fun!

I rather think that the 'bad mother' bit would be worse. [Also, just wanted to mention that this sentence should end with a longer dash (—) and without the space before the dash. There are one or two others like that too throughout.]
Not quite sure that I can see Hermione drinking three fingers! LOL Quite funny, though. :-)

Thank you! I feel sure that he would be putty in their hands. But I also envisioned that my (OOC, I'll admit) Snape was adored by all the Weasley children, as well, thoroughly horrifying Ron and his brothers!
Perhaps a bit OOC (but intentionally so), but I liked the story. I loved the anti-epilogue even more.

Reader screams, perhaps with hysterical laughter, perhaps also with overstimulated imagination. Cuts and pastes some more:
"Surely you didn't think the discussion of the children we won't be
having didn't involve a marriage we won't be making? I am not that kind
of man."
Reader gives up. There is so much worth quoting in this. Basically, however, one would have to simply cut and paste the whole damn thing. And that, like the nonexistent Epilogue, would be a pointless waste of time.
Another brilliant piece of writing. Bravo!!

The Epilogue That Never Was is an amazing piece of literature. I am stealing it.
Well, okay, I won't, but it is totally great. My housemates told me to stop laughing no less than seventeen times. No joke. (Get it? Seventeen? I just had to make sure you got that part. Tee hee.)
You are going to have to get the 'I'm allergic to smug bastards' phrase patented before I steal that, too.

Excellent use of pacing. The story moved so quickly that it perfectly mirrored Hermione's confusion. I loved the irony of the non-Epilogue.It was fun to see a story that is so very different from CoMC, which I am so very much enjoying as you write. Very well written indeed!
