Some people believe that love is an amazing gift while others feel that it is the worst curse to befall them. The course of true love never did run smooth. Of course, Hermione could always blame sexually charged teenage witches, Divination and Valentine's Day.

Poor Hermione! What is she going to do with the name and hearts on her hand! Too funny and very cute.Livvy

Poor Hermione, indeed! You shall have to wait and see, though the wait shouldn't be terribly long. ;) Thank you.
Such a great start! Poor Hermione - true love or not, I wouldn't want to have to walk around school with "Severus Snape" written on the backs of my hands (and surrounded by little hearts, too).
I guffawed out loud when Snape thought she'd written the time of detention on her hand.

LOL! I know! The poor girl!
Well, there's no denying the obvious :)

LOL! Of course not! :)
A fabulous beginning! I am completely hooked! Poor Hermione - taken in by Lavender and pals. LOL
I am fascinated by both Hermione's and Severus's reactions. His is particularly interesting. I look forward to more!

You, my dear, are a sweetheart, and I love you. :)
Aw, poor Hermione! What a mess those girls got her into. And Severus is probably wondering WTF? why his name is appearing on Hermione's hand. I am very much looking forward to reading more!
Response from GinnyW (Author of The Curse of True Love)
*sigh*
I know, poor girl! And, of course that's what severus is thinking! Makes me feel nearly as sorry for him. ;) Thank you!
Brilliant.
More please.

Thank you. I'm working on it.
I like the beginning of that, actually.

:D Thank you!
Amazing work, great believable characterisation!
To say the truth, when I read the first chapter I thought that you 've had better ideas than that... I didn't wanted to read it any further, but forced by my sister and cousin (who both don't speak english good enough to read stories) I had to go on... and I don't regret it! I like your Hermione: young and, apart from her know-it-all attitude, a bit foolish and least not omniscient. I'm glad that there are some more consequences of the curse than "they kissed, fell in love and lived happily ever after" (althoug I'm decidedly for a happily ever after... eventually) Have a nice holiday (if it'a a proper time for you) and some time to write more. We're looking forward to the next chapter!cheers,Belle
Will this story continue? Ever?
Arrgghhhh....seriously, no finish?!?!?!? Oh, please, oh, please, oh, please return to this delightful story.
'The Tower of London still has the remains of wizards and witches who
tried to claim that they were not aware of the consequences of their
contractual commitments.' Scary. I have a tutorial on discharge of contracts this morning, but I don't think we're covering magical ones.
This story gets better and better!
Poor girls, guys and professor, the are waist deep in a hugh pile of crap. Married, the names on the girls hands, more writing appearing, removal of Severus from teaching and the promise of Severus and Hermione's first born. You are evil writer - you have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at them and I LOVE IT.
giggle.... this is such a terrible situation for all the couples (and oh, what will the Malfoys say!?), but I just know it's going to be a great rollicking scene in the next chapter. your selection of letters was brilliant. so, Severus doesn't have to teach while he's on suspension - he has time to fix the problem, or to flee the country. can't wait to see what you do next, you tricksy author!
I can so relate to her, however resentfully, wanting to be included when the other girls go off to do things. Even if she thinks they are just silly things. This is such a great start - I wonder what Snape is going to do with this. And how long that writing will last on her hand. For some reason, the little, multicolored hearts around the name just made me smile -- Severus and little hearts. :-)

Oh my, what a bloody sodden mess they got themselves into... *mwahaha* - what an explosion of ideas! I'm really curious what you are going to do about it.
Oh my goodness! What a way to complicate the plot! Could it get any worse...I mean having to send your firstborn away at the age of 5! I hope you can update soon.
I've just jumped on the bandwagon, but the chapter is incredibly funny and intriguing! I can't wait to know what happens next.
I think I may have cracked a rib or two in the process of reading this chapter. You need to put up appropriate warning labels! And I really, really hope the next chapter will be posted soon, because I desperately want to know what happens next.
What a tangled web we weave when proforming (and creating) spells we do not conceive....Well, it's hit it now all right. Can't wait for the ramifications of this! You and your >:)!Cliffies!! ;-)
*Fans Self* Is the heat on, or was it that kiss? He can deny all he wants, but me thinks he doth protest too much! Susan was sweet. Perfect for Neville.
Ah ha! I see Lavender can be somewhat clever when it somes to matters of the heart, eh? :)
Nice!
So, if Severus has to *ahem* impregnate his fair bride without delay, what creative methods will said bride use to elicit the care, empathy, and general pampering she will need?
Oh the tangled webs!
Oh the cliffhangers!
Great start! I think the only reason HG would do a spell like that is she truly doesn't see that it has any merit! Loving it! (as you know)
i just started reading this today. i had wondered why it was the curse of true love - okay, i get it now. my goodness, what a gnarly mess you've created here! good job! i'm sure it will be loads of fun watching you eventually untangle it!i had the awful feeling that there might be some sort of magical bonding involved, but certainly did not expect that whole - you must procreate within the year and hand over your firstborn thing. and i really like the whole embarrassing, humiliating, tattoos all over her hands twist. kinda mean, but very clever.add me to the throngs who are eagerly awaiting your next update!
