I love their platonic relationship. Hermione's kindness and Snape's touched response at the end added such sweetness to this story. I'm glad this story kept their relationship simple and pure.And that was a truly beautiful rose at the end: unique, natural, and such lovely colors, despite the thorns and imperfections; perfect Snape rose.

This is a really good valentine story, I love it very much. I don't like most of them, as I feel about valentine like some snarky potions master ;), but yours nearly makes me change my mind. The way how the boys turned something good into some form of torture is so real, and you tell this part so well. And the way Hermione makes up for it - just great. Thank you for a piece of nice reading! I'm looking forward to the sequel, too.

Loved the interaction between Snape and Hermione, though I do wish that pepeop wowou simply remremem that he I also a human being that deserves happiness.
Author's Response: I think I tried - sooner or later - to write everyone into happyness. After all, that's what fandom is all about, at least for me: to change what I don't like, mainly unhappy and/or dead people ;-)

I like that Hermione found him a rose with some personal meaning, the color, grown by her Dad. Now I think its time for a little revenge??

I love how she gave him an orange rose. Not just the color of desire, but also strikingly different from the standard red usually given.
