DHW (definition): more commonly described as pale and uninteresting. Possesses a modicum of rather dry wit. Appearence usually resembles something that has been dragged backwards through a few hedgerows. Intelligent, though not brilliant. Officially employed as junior Mad Scientist, complete with minions. I continue to be amazed by your graceful, beautiful prose. You use the drabble format to its greatest effect. I cannot wait to read more.

Evil cliffie! I can't wait for the next chapter. I love your writing style. Your style is beautiful. This has to be one of the best written pieces of fanfic I've ever read.

I lurved this when it was on GS100. I still love it now, even when I know the ending! ;-)
Author's Response: *giggles* I wonder if people will guess the ending before it happens again.
Thank you *blushes*
malpractice ......... her own DNA ......... muddy coloured water being washed down the drain ................. intriguing!

This is just some of my thoughts. Hermione has or should I say had a twin. Who she killed because the twin wanted to take over her life. As for the body, to me it can't be a polyjuice person because once the person pasted the hour they would have turned back into themselves. At least is what I thought anyway. A very indept chapter. Looking forward to more.

It's a nice theory. But I'm afraid she doesn't have a twin.

Hermione's DNA under Hermione's fingernails? Oh it must be that she is still alive, and the victim a Polyjuiced bad guy. (Or the polyjuiced baddie is the one with the scratches, is another, less attractive, alternative.)Poor Severus! This is really good so far!
Response from bound_by_passion (Author of The Murder of Miss Hermione Granger)
Not polyjuce, I'm afraid.
I'm glad you're enjoying it. And thank you for the review. :)

Very Good beginning! poor Severus! And he IS the sort, I think, who would keep his love to himself, if he loved someone. The last sentence was touching. I am hurrying on to the next chapter.

It's very intriguing to be sure, and quite beautifully written at that. I have a hard time seeing Snape in this, though. I get an image of an elderly gentleman and the language is very English classic (which is a good thing). I might have been able to let it slide as a CSI Vegas fic set some 20 years into the future, but I guess I just don't see the tie-in with the Potterverse, or the characters used here. I do think that this would make a compelling original story however. My advice to improve this further (as I said, the writing and plotting seem very very good so far) would be to simply change names and category.
I am hoping that somehow it is not Hermione. Silly, I know. The bit about her own DNA under her fingernails without having any scratches on her body is the puzzle. Another reviewer suggested time travel, which is an excellent hypothesis. What about Polyjuice and a nearly dead person, hopefully by agreement, placing the skin cells under the nails and doing any damage postmortem? This would be with a view to disappear. However, now that I have said all that, it does not sound like something Hermione would do unless she was completely desperate.

Oooo, you're getting close there. :)

hmm...i'm gonna say, for the sole purpose of calculated guesses, that she killed herself..and something about time-travel or a time-turner were involved..eh? no, well. good guess maybe? very interesting. i shall be working on the mistery.
Response from bound_by_passion (Author of The Murder of Miss Hermione Granger)
It's a good guess, but I'm afraid there are no time-turners in this.
Thank you for the review. :)

Why am I under the impression that this is not the real Hermione? Maybe she some of transfigured someone or something to look like her. Which could explain the DNA thing under the nails ... I also notice that you posted the two chapters on the 31st of december and january. Is that a coincidence or do you intend to do so with the next chapters ?
Response from bound_by_passion (Author of The Murder of Miss Hermione Granger)
Ah. close. But not quite.
I'm afraid that's just a coincidence. I was very busy during January, and unable to post. Goodness knows I have so many things to complete. I hope to have the next bit up very soon.
Thank you for the review.

I'm not usually one for drabbles but this one caught my eye and I'm really glad that I read it, I can't wait for the next update. I'm really bad at figuring out who done it so I have no clue as usual and will be in total shock at the end until Sev explains it all to me.
Whoa I posted this and had a crazy idea after... and usually I don't have any ideas... Hermione killed Hermione. The body isn't really Hermione, it's a polyjuiced one... The real Hermione still has her own wand.
Don't feel obliged to respond to that. I just wanted to throw that out there. Besides it could crush me if you tell me I'm wrong. :) I'm so proud of myself at this moment.

Very good. You certainly have an eye for a mystery. :)
Not that I expect an answer but could it be that it is not Hermione. But someone polijuiced as her. And if not then was there snow under her and if so how much? And what was she doing when she went missing and why didn't anyone know she was missing and report it? And I have a ton more questions. lol but I think I'll wait until more chapters come up and by the way love your screenname.
Response from bound_by_passion (Author of The Murder of Miss Hermione Granger)
Oooo, well done. Now only the other questions left to answer.
More will be up soon. And thank you. It's one of my favorite screennames (I have three)
