I loved this snapshot - and I quite prefer to think it ended on a hopeful note, indeed. And now I'm in the mood for hot chocolate, in spite of it being summer!

I so can see this.  And what a day dream.  Loved it.

Better if she'd never given in to the hot blood between her and Ron, because that's all I believe it is.

But, anyway, this is a charming story, and best of all:  Severus is not dead!  Yay!  Good job!

sweet.  i also favor the notion that maybe severus was kind of communing with hermione via some sort of spell or something - that makes that happy future outcome all the more likely, if he's dreaming about it, too. 

I liked it, I can picture Hermione talking to Severus.  I wonder if he was really putting thoughts into her mind with a spell or charm.  I think he might have simply so he wouldn't have yo open up first.

Aw, yay! I agree that joy is sitting in front of a fire with hot cocoa and a Special Someone. However, if that Special Someone is Not Available/Nonexistant, a dog or cat will do (or a good book, in a pinch).

This story is lovely, what could be better than sitting infront of a roaring fire with someone you love while the snow falls outside.
