This story is so moving, and so beautiful. It captures the Hermione's compassion and Snape's inner torment. This is one of my all time favorites. *sigh*

I must be on your to-read list today. :D Makes me happy.
Cool story. I like it! Nice to see a different sort of scenario present itself.
Ok, I think this is the perfect story for a sequel :>) Wouldn't you agree?
I do love them together and the "getting to know each other" would be tooo wonderful.
I love this story. It's just so sweet. And I love the metaphor you used. Hermione is like a light in his darkness. It's a brilliant one shot

Thanks, Armor! I am happy to have you reading my stories. (If I get confident, perhaps I will try yours in French!)
I really like the premise of this story, a sort of magical PTSD...
Nice metaphor.
Marvellous. This story is making me do that inane grinning thing again. Brilliant.
Excellent!!! Well handled loved reading it !!!Loved the way you twisted the plot along giving just enough not revealing too much until the end!

Thank you!
Wonderful! Wonderful! I love the way you write -- a fulfilling and lasting relationship cannot be maintained unless there is more to it than physical intimacy. I have no doubt that the physical aspect will come, but it is good to know that there will be a firm foundation for them to build on!Well Done!!!Beth

That is so true. And I never got to the physical part because I wanted to give that sense that a lot of time would pass before that happened (and I was too lazy to write a multichaptered piece *lol*).

That was eerily beautiful. Well worth staying awake for just a few minutes longer to read!

I liked this....I just re-read some of the stories I had marked and thought I would look at this again.
It's been a while and I realized I didn't leave a review the first time.
Very good indeed!
What I like most about this one shot is the fact that it did not lead immediately to sex. He wants a friend, a compainion, someone to share his days with. It makes my romantic heart beat faster. Thanks

Thank you. In a one-shot it's sort of difficult to show this, that they're not just jumping into the intimacy part.
I like that your stories are not all the same, you know the same feel to them. This was great.Tamara

Thank you. I do try to be different in each one; I don't know, maybe portray another side of me in my writing?
This was adorable. Left me smiling with satisfaction. Thanks for sharing it.
Apparently, tonight is a night for reading through a treasury of your tales. Another well-written prose.Elura

Apparently so. LOL But I like it when someone travels through several of my tales. Every once in a while you come across one that is very different from the other, something to please everyone maybe, me trying out different styles trying to find my niche.
I enjoyed that!
I love this story. I know I've read it several times and I always keep reading even though I've read it before. I can imagine Snape, a wizard who is very VERY powerful, causing odd things to happen when he is overwhelmed. After so many years of being alone and dealing with so much on his own it makes sense he'd finally get to a point where his magic would do weird things. I do think he's a little too accepting of a relationship at the end for it to be in character but given the level of fear and anxiety he's suffered I can imagine it might change him a bit. I'd have enjoyed him being a little more conflicted but I love the story so much I just read it over and over again. Thanks for writing it!

I agree with you that he is too accepting in the end. This was in my early fanfiction writing days. I wouldn't write it this way any longer. In fact, I might even be turned off a bit by the easy acceptance if I were the reader. My reading tastes have changed as well as my writing. I am glad that you keep finding it so enthralling to read it multiple times, and I appreciate your honesty!!
