Reviews for Nineteen Years Later
"No one came looking for him, even though without him there would not have been any victory. He was left to decompose in a broken shack."You know, that is the one thing that I find TRULY unforgiveable about Deathly Hallows. I can even excuse their not checking him at the time, but after the battle? That, I cannot excuse.

Me, neither! I wrote the story three days after the book which I started reading just as soon as I was out of my local walmart at some time after midnight, so my emotion was raw at the moment at the injustice he had to suffer all through his life and even in his death, alleged death. Thanks for R&R.
Response from cmwinters (Reviewer)
Yeah, I came completely unglued about that. I can't fathom what the hell Jo's problem is. I know she didn't like Snape, but that was beyond petty. She even made Lucius out to be a worse character than she claimed Severus was, and Lucius LIVED. I could go on for days about how horribly unfair Snape's whole life was, and she sees absolutely nothing wrong with discarding him like yesterday's garbage. At this point, Harry has more compassion than she does!
Oh dear gods. Snape is gonna be *PISSED* when he wakes up and finds out he's been held in stasis for nineteen years. >.<

Snape is gonna be *PISSED* when he wakes up and finds out he's been held in stasis for nineteen years. That's a story starter! What do they call it here?---Plotbunny!
Response from cmwinters (Reviewer)
Hahaha.Yes, yes they do!
I can't decide what makes me most happy here - that I found your story - that Neville found Snape - that Rose found THE stone?A great idea to sort Rose to Slytherin, but what did Ron say about it? now let's see if Scorpius is closer to Lucius or Draco...You've got great ideas and your style is gripping!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Awwww!!!! You had me blushing! Thank you!

Oh wow- she must have the resurrection stone - she brought him in a spirit like form back with it without realizing what it was - good idea - cannot wait to see what happens next.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
TftR!I know what's next and tell you after I come back from my South Asia vaccation. Have a happy summer.
Oh, my goodness! The Resurrection Stone has resurfaced!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Yes it has. TftR.
The end was particularly mysterious. I also like the idea of a more civilized Snape, but please do not let him loose too much of his sarcasm. And to finish just a thought: Rose wasn't supposed to be a Ravenclaw?
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
A Ravenclaw! Nah! She was way too special. Like a Black in the Gryffindor, A Weasley in the Slytherin is more interesting.TftR.
I think she will be in trouble!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Hmm! If my lips weren't sealed so tightly I could have let you know....
This next chapter ought to be real good. I wonder what her father will say to her?
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Uhoh! You'll have to read to know...
Wow...I just started reading this and I must say....I love Neville's secret. I would not have seen that coming. I will read on.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Thanks. I hope you like the rest too.
What a great start. I really like it great job!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Thank you for reading, I'm glad to know you liked it.
And that is why Hermione spoke to him while she cared for him- he could hear her!Hahaha... I love that he thought they were married.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
I am happy that you liked it. Thanks.
I had hoped Snape would make some sort of motion when the memories were returned, but everything takes some time.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
I know!
Oi, Lucius plotting is never a good thing.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Neville got good at those memory charms, but I wish he had spoken to Severus. Hermione is dead on about coma patients.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Yeah! Once an IKIA, always an IKIA!
Neville is hiding Snape? Outstanding! How did Snape survive all those years with Neville caring for him?
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Good question. The answer is in the next chapter. Hope you liked it.
Absolutely excellent beginning!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Thank you.
Her pain and grief are absolutely palpable. McG knew just how to entice her to get her to Hogwarts.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
She was her Head of the house after all. Thanks for reading.
Will Hermione play the princess charming and wake him with a chaste (or not) kiss? That could be fun.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Had you been using Legilimency on me? That was my plot for Severus the Snow-White Prince...No, no, not really... There no such thing, it's just my excellence Occlumency technic.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
OOOps! where did the AT go?I meant excellence at occlumency tecnic, never said I'm any good at the keyboard...hee,hee!
Great chapter. I love the exchange in the kitchen between Ginny and Rose, it was really natural and sweet. I also like Sev's thoughts in his coma. I had an idea for a fic based around that perspective, but I've never got around to writing it. I'm glad to see other people had the same thoughts I did, it means I'm not completly crazy. ;) I can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the good work!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I hope you write it, I would love to read them.
I liked that they are trying to help - good new character description for Neville. Cannot wait to see if they can bring him back. What twists and turns will you take?
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Thank you for reading. I hope you liked the rest too.
Hmm, I wonder what will convince Severus to come back if the latest theory is correct?
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Yeah? Funny! I was thinking the same thouht! Love when you review.

See now this chapter seemed familiar to me but none of the previous ones did. I think Hermione is wrong to abandon Hugo to Molly's care. A child needs his Mom. I adore that Rose is in slytherin! How perfect. I shudder at the thought of the trouble she and Scorpious can get into! I look forward to the next chapter.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
It does? I also archive at Wiktt, ffn & owl. But if you've seen it some place else or in some other's story, please let me know so I could see for myself and know how that came to be.This story is originally written (posted in it's very raw form 7/26/07--9/7/07 at ffn) right after DH was read by me and my mopeing was complete, now Writermerrin has taken merci on me, and thus I have been blessed with her beta reading . I am posting here & on Owl as she finishes reading over each chapter.Yes,Hermione is nowhere the perfect know-it-all anymore, she's overwhelmed with sudden single motherhood. I personally would/could never leave any of my kids anywhere, no matter what. I am very old-fashioned bengali mother. Merrin has the next chapter.
Your Neville reminds me somewhat of a character in Steven King's Misery. Kathy Bates played her in the movie of the same name.
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
He does? Really? I know which movie you are talking about, I have watched the clipping of it when they honored Clint Eastwood, but never watched the movie or read the book, have no clue what's the subject matter of it. If I wasn't so scared of ANYTHING Steven King and his writing-genre, I would have run to the local Library first thing monday morning. Maybe, when I really grow up(mentally), lol.
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
I dont read Steven King either. The man is waaaay to scary. Misery, the movie is all about an obsessed fan (Kathy Bates) who manages to get her hands on the author and then she manipulates him into writing the way SHE wants the story to go. Fan girl taken to illegal heights! Watch it during the day time and you will be fine.
NEVILLE has been nursing Snape? With what medical degree? Or is he keeping him poisioned in retailation?? on to the next chapter!
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Oh, You want to know more about Neville's secret? Tell me after reading the next one how you liked /disliked it?Thanks for reading.
You can kill off Molly Weasley too if you want. I promise not to shed any tears. BUT wait Harry said he would "bring back Snape" What does this mean??? ((is worried))
Response from mauvemagique (Author of Nineteen Years Later)
Harry would if he could. Wishful thinking onhis part. He didn't think anyone but Voldemort should have died. Thanks for reading.
