I *really* enjoyed this. Very sexy without any actual sex! Right away (when I saw that Lily was 13) I knew there wouldn't be any, but I didn't expect it to be so steamy. I'm probably the only reviewer that suspected Bellatrix for this one. The description promised a surprise so I kept looking for it. And the fact that she's always referred to as "Black" sort of tipped me off. The two characters do have an interested foil against each other. I'd imagine Lily would be much more vulnerable to dark magic than Bella...

Oh, no, you guessed who it was??? Well, I suppose SOMEONE had to. It's been so much fun to get these comments about, "I thought it was Regulus" and so on. But it was tricky, never using any gender-specific pronouns and stuff--it kinda starts sounding unnatural after a while. Well, glad you enjoyed it anyway!

Aside from being lead totally astray, you had me thinking all sorts of nonesense; wondering if the Potter's had lived would their marriage have held up? Her relationship, whatever it was, with Severus and having Sirius [yuck] under foot constantly ... would have been interesting!

WOAH!! WHAT?! That just COMPLETELY threw me for a loop. Probably, like most others, I assumed it was Sirius but I also thought that maybe it would have been Regulus but Bellatrix came out of left field for me!! Good twist!! I was so caught up in the story that it just shocked me at the end.
