Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Oh, this is too familiar. XDHubbies need special rewards for how well they take care of their wives, sometimes...
kinda fun to see Hermione use that crazy canary hex on Severus. Great beginning and premise. Something more humorous after the angst & darkness of the "Hermione-Necromancer" saga.

Thanks! My one-shots do tend to be more humorous than the Necromancer!Hermione trilogy... I guess they need to be!
...I'd have turned her over my knee for a whalloping that would make it very difficult for her to sit down and absorb herself so mindlessly in her work.~Lotm

Oddly enough, I did contemplate Severus doing exactly that...
But I've never written a spanking scene, and didn't want to risk making a mess of one in a fic I was writing for someone.
Thanks for reviewing!

Ooh, write me one of those! I'll beta it for ya! *cheazy grin*~Lotmthe kinkyP.S. If you go to RestrictedSection.org and check out my insanely long fanfic For Someone Special, there's a very nice spanking scene in chapter 7...and in several others later on, teehee...

I'll see what I can do. You really know how to unleash rabid plot bunnies!
One of these days I'll have to review said insanely long fic. At the time I read it, I couldn't think of anything to say that would do it justice... (and I was a very lazy reviewer at that time, too. Bit better at it now!)
Response from ladyofthemasque (Reviewer)
I have yet to have a single person review every single chapter. Come to think of it, I don't think anyone--that includes all of 'em--has reviewed every single chapter. Then again, including the epilogue, there's 163 of 'em (yeef!), so I don't blame any of them....If I had known it would take 163 chapters and nearly 600,000 words to tell that particular tale, I'm not sure I would have ever begun it...~Lotmlooking forward to seeing your smutty bits(--in her writing, you review-reading pervs!)*snerk*
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
If I tried to review every single chapter, I wouldn't have time to write the requested smutty bits.
Am really glad that you're not a Seer. FSS was very long, yes, but well worth reading.
Now, to get that rabid plot bunny's teeth into my keyboard, rather than nibbling on me (better make a note that I mean my toes, just in case there are review-reading pervs around)
Response from ladyofthemasque (Reviewer)
Actually, gross and slimy though it may be, I find plot-bunny spittle between the toes to be remarkably motivating. Mainly because of the urgent, squicked need to get the idea written down so I can go take a hot, scrubbing footbath...~Lotm
I know how that feels.
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thanks! I hope there's something in this fic that will get that reaction from most readers, be it the consuming research or the stolen coffee.
Hee hee hee! THIS is why I can't possibly agree with JKR about pairing Hermione up with Ron -- only Severus could possibly be quick enough to keep up with Hermione, keep her on her toes so that she's never bored, AND potentially beat her at her own game. I LOVE the way in which you had Severus make Hermione's flock of "killer canaries" reverse direction and come flying back at her!
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thanks for reviewing!
Add to that the fact that Ron left, ignoring her begging for him to return...
That was one of my favourite parts to write, too.
Cute, sweet and VERY believable! Great job!
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thank you! That was what I was aiming for, good to know you think I've achieved it.
*snickers* I love the part where she steals his coffee. =-)
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
It does take the biscuit, I suppose. Thanks for reviewing!
Oh, this was cute. A nice little break from my own fic was just what I needed.
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thanks! Hope that was a refreshing little break for you.
Ooh, I love the title you decided on. And I'm very fond of this fic. Thanks again so very much for writing it for me!
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thank you, I'm very glad to hear that!
It was a pleasure, all the more so as the plot bunny was oddly cooperative.
wonderful! the snatching of his coffee was a hoot! thanks so much
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thank you! I just couldn't resist depriving Severus of his coffee.
Ouch, a month with no nookie? Poor man. And Crookshanks, you vicious beastie! Talk about intense studying...
Response from ayerf (Author of Reciprocity)
Thank you! I'm sure Hermione will do her best to make it up to him...
