Sequel to my SSHG story, Enraptured. A prophecy says Luna and Draco will one day fall in love. That was six years ago, and Luna is tired of waiting around. It's time to take matters into her own hands. Unfortunately, Draco has a plan of his own. First Place in Draconian Measures at the 2007 OWL Awards; Runner Up for Best Fluff in Round Three of the Quill to Parchment Awards.

Please do continue! Ever since reading Enraptured I've wondered about just how Luna would make this prophecy come to pass.This chapter was mesmerizing. I could just imagine how Luna was feeling sitting on that bench with him behind her. Poor thing's heart was probably beating out of her chest! I remember a guy I had a crush on standing behind me to teach me how to play a drum roll.....*sigh*

*happy sigh* I love that scene. I'm glad it was able to bring back a happy moment for you. :) I imagine you're right - her heart probably was beating our of her chest! It will be interesting to see her reaction later on to this kiss - she's so busy plotting now, she didn't even take a moment to enjoy the afterglow! LOL

I'm not sure if Draco/Luna is anyone's one true 'ship. LOL It's definitely not mine, as you know, but Luna was too much fun to resist! Thank you so much for the lovely review.

I must say I like this pairing. I think they complete each other. So different but yet so alike. A good match. There is more to Luna than meets the eye. You are a very good write. Moving on to next chapter.Tamara

Another two, or three, or four chapters... there's never too much of a good thing! Just the way I like it: already knowing the outcome of the story, so I can concentrate on the how, when and where.

I was glad to see the update. Poor Draco can't see that he's the one pining away... I can't wait to see how Draco reacts to Luna's more aggressive plan -- you've got him well primed for it. :-)

Oh, poor stupid Draco. He needs to suffer for what he has done, but I think putting up with Astoria Greengrass is suffering enough.

Oh, my only objection is that you've left us with a horrible cliffhanger! I love Luna's resolve and Draco's pun about the instrument of his downfall. Her instincts were right. I love Pansy's line about Hermione being married to a Slytherin, and I am so thrilled that Severus has been present in this story.

I'd missed reading most of the chapters of this story. But I'm caught up now and eager for more. I can't wait to see what happens when Draco finds out that Luna knew about his plan all along.I'll wait patiently for the last two chapters. :) Thanks for sharing!

Oh, dear! I just knew Draco wasn't going to take it well when he finally realized he loved Luna. I was rather hopeful that Severus could talk some sense into him. Poor Hermione certainly has a whole lotta explaining to do! And poor Luna has seen Draco half insane with worry and calling her love and has now fallen asleep in a warm golden glow of declaring her own love for him. The morning light is going to be especially harsh when she awakens to find he has left her.Spectacular chapter, my dear! You certainly had me on an emotional roller coaster. From the relief of knowing Luna was fine to the fear that Hermione had been poisoned. From Draco's overload of worry for Luna to his sweet relief to his misguided reasoning and heartbreaking conclusion. Oh, Draco! Loving Luna won't make you less of a Malfoy. It will make you a brighter, better Malfoy.

Two weeks! Woman, what are you doing to us! Two weeks, and Draco fleeing in the face of the horrible, dreadful, awful realization that he is in love and could have everything he could ever want except a dull, sterile marriage and the cold comfor of Tradition Maintained!This was worth slaving over, m'dear, as you got his ninner turmoil, his unwillingness to face his feelings, and the panic that ensues when he finally does--you got all them exactly right. This really is a lovely pairing.And I do so hope that Severus helps Hermione find a better way to deal with the nasties. She obviously needs a bit of Slytherin guidance!Excellent job!love, w

Faced with the truth, he ran away. Geeze, almost made me laugh. Severus saw it and everyone else - but Draco. and now that he does, he runs. I look forward to the next chapter when he realizes he can't run away from his heart.
