Sequel to my SSHG story, Enraptured. A prophecy says Luna and Draco will one day fall in love. That was six years ago, and Luna is tired of waiting around. It's time to take matters into her own hands. Unfortunately, Draco has a plan of his own. First Place in Draconian Measures at the 2007 OWL Awards; Runner Up for Best Fluff in Round Three of the Quill to Parchment Awards.

Lovely insightful Luna. I don't think most people would actually enjoy knowing their future quite as much as this Luna does, but it is so perfectly Luna to take it all in stride. Thanks for letting us see the Snapes in this chapter ;)

Happy me - you updated! Love the way you write Luna - expanding on the character presented in the book and really letting us see how her mind works. Is it because she so totally lacks artifice that she unconsciously cuts right through it like a hot knife through butter when she comes up against it? Very glad to see your Severus again. Frankly, I love the way you are writing all of the characters - your style makes it very, very easy to visualize the action. More please?!! (she asks greedily...)

That was worth the wait!I especially enjoyed Draco's mad dash to find someone who could advice him.Update soon please, I don't have any ideas about where Draco will take Luna for dinner and it's making me SO impatient.

OMG Thank you thank you for updating this terrific fic. I know Luna is wise beyond what others think. I just hope that she doesn't get to ahead of herself. And Draco, I can't wait until he realizes just how much he cares for her. I have two favorite parts. First, Pansy and Ron, I think Ron can be a prat but I'm glad he found someone and Pansy is a perfect fit for him. And second, Neville, thank you for giving him an awesome part in your story. Ah, that's the trick isn't it? She knows so much ... it has to be hard not to act on that information. She's been patient for so long, but she be able to hold back now that things look like they're moving forward? I'm so glad you enjoyed Pansy and Ron, and especially Neville. I thought he was a great choice to have give Draco just the right advice -- even if he doesn't realize what exactly that was! LOL Thank you so much for sticking with this fic despite the long lapse between chapters. We're on a roll now, I hope, so if everything stays sane in RL, we should be good to go! :)
Oh yeah! These two really are perfectly suited. I'm totally amused with Draco, that he understood the underlying meaning in Luna's note, and that he is beginning to think he may not get away so easily.

Thank you! This was pretty much a transitional chapter, but there were hints of things to come. Luna is not as flightly as she initially appears, as you know from Enraptured, but Draco isn't as immune to her as he would like to believe, either. :)

Ouch. That Draco is so Slytherin, like it's okay to use her as long as he's careful about it. I have a feeling Luna's going to give him a run for his money.

Ooo, cool. Having issues with SH, I'm happy to see this here. I'm so glad you decided to explore this relationship. Your virginal Luna is a delightful contrast to your Draco, calling her 'pet' and deciding it's time for her to be kissed. Moonlight Sonata works so well for these two.

i've just discovered this story and i think it is really good. i like the Luna-Draco ship, it is unusual but interesting.

As much as I enjoyed the SS/HG prequel to this, I honestly think I'm enjoying this more-very eagerly awaiting chapter 3.

I have never read this pairing before, after reading the first chapter I was curious how this fic would develop. Luna's a very interesting character, I'm sure she'll come up with ideas to keep Draco on his toes. Loving the fic :D more soon??

I so hope that you are going to continue with this story! I love your writing! This was a great first chapter. My favorite part was Draco teaching Luna to play the piano! Wow! That was really giving me the good shivers! You must continue!! I love how you get to the heart and soul of the characters, like you did with Snape and Hermione! Keep it up!

I just finished reading Enrapture (which btw, I adored - the epilogue was brilliant - Luna is such a crafty girl) and was so excited to start reading this. I don't think I would have normally paired Luna and Draco (I also tend to pair her with Neville) but I love what you've written so far. I can't wait till the next chapter

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed Enrpaptured and decided to give this a chance. :) This is a very odd pairing, one I had never really considered, either. Originally in Enraptured, Luna was going to end up with Ron. However, as I considered her more Slytherin side, it became clear to me that Draco was the one for her. I wasn't sure if I could really write them as a romantic pairing, but so far so good!

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly want more. That was an interesting beginning, and I totally agree with Albus about the prophecy, which made me laugh, by the way.

Please continue! The Draco/Luna pairing is one I haven't encountered before, but I think it could be rather interesting -- and the idea that Luna is about to unleash her inner Slytherin is an intriguing one! Something tells me that Draco will fall like a ninepin almost before he knows what hit him -- Ravenclaws *are* reputed to be among the most intelligent students at Hogwarts, after all!

Not a pairing I would normally consider reading, but after this first chapter I am more than willing to take a chance on it. I like your Luna. Very close to canon, with more insight into what makes that strange, brilliant brain tick.

Ever since I read Subversa's "His Draught of Delicate Poison", I've liked the pairing of Luna and Draco. Such opposites attracting, he needs someone to protect and she needs someone to keep in line. I hope that you continue with this story as I'd like to see how you continue to flesh out the characters. Very nicely written!

LOL I've read loads of Draco stories, but Luna as a major character are certainly hard to find. Stories with the two together in a romantic story are rare indeed.
