Severus Snape is about to be given his liberty from the Ministry’s pilot rehabilitations program and his Probational Monitor, Hermione Granger. Five years is a long time to spend under the thumb of an annoyingly know-it-all Gryffindor, but is it long enough for him to see her as more than that? Will accusations of impropriety doom their chance for happiness?

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was working on a pretty tight deadline for this, actually, I was over the deadline and working with an extention when I finished it... so that might explain the rushed feeling. Though I wrote everything I intended to, and actually added quite a bit of information to chapter five on the advice of my beta.
AHH! Love finally blossoms! *blush*Good story up to this point, I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I'm so happy you enjoyed it! This was my first SS/HG story and my first Multi-chapter piece in the HP fandom... so I thought that five chapters was a good starter length. The next and final chapter is posted!

I've actually written my fair share of sex, but this was my first time writing SS/HG, so I was a little apprehensive attempting that level of intimacy this time around. Another great chapter! I loved how we could see a little bit more of Severus' and Hermione's relationship and how it developed. I am thoroughly enjoying your characterizations. I can't wait for the advent of Luna in the story! I'm rather excited to see how Severus will deal with lawyer Luna Longbottom. Nicely done!

I really wish I hadn't been working on such a tight deadline when I wrote this, because I would have really liked to explore Luna's character as a lawyer... unfortunately, with the exchange deadline looming, it was one of those things that didn't get to happen 'onscreen.' Then again... Luna is one of those characters that takes a special kind of author... and I'm really not sure I'd do her justice anyway. Thank you so much for your kind review and continuing to read!

What an interesting idea! I like the dynamic, although I'm not entirely convinced by Severus' lusting after her quite yet. Hopefully there'll be some back story though, to justify it! :-)

I'm so glad you liked my idea, though I'm afraid I have to get most of the credit to the prompt I was working from. I certainly hope that I give you enough backstory to be believeable. Backstory is one of those really touchy things... some people love it, and others are happier with the briefest amount possible. Thanks so much for your review!!!

Thank you! I find that the editorials are often allowed to get away with a bit more than your standard article written by a journalist. Though, this still dances pretty close to the edge. :-) thanks so much for your review!
Hurray for the '07 Summer Exchange! People come up with some really interesting requests, and authors do a wonderful job adding their own creativity. This is no exception. I like the probation spin you've put on thier relationship, very original. Also, being a reader who can't stand a huge chunk of backstory (somewhat boring, in my humble opinion), I was glad to see that the article served to explain a little about their situation as well as lay groundwork for the rest of it. Another thing I love about this so far is the way Snape and Hermione interact with one another, should be interesting to see where it all leads.Okay, one more little comment and then I'll leave you alone. The pace of this is excellent. Like I said, tons of backstory and explanation is a turn-off. You're going at a nice pace.I think I'm really going to enjoy following this one, it's off to a great start :o)Happy Exchanging,Sue.
