I really, REALLY like this story.

Even more evidence (like we needed it) that Ron is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I like Severus' reaction to Hermione's news.  He doesn't seem to know how to handle it.  It's very revealing of how much he's come to care for her in such a short time.

Snert.... that'll teach him.  Now, does Severus already have an idea about the cure for Hermione?   And did he write that note for Hermione to take to St Mungo's?  Thanks for the new chapter, and I hope things go better for you in real life.

I'm glad that we finally know what happened to Hermione.  I'm also glad that Severus knows.  Hopefully, this will be the impetus for him to rejoin the wizarding world.  As always, wonderful writing.

Your Snape is beautiful. Snarky as we love him, clearcut the way we adore, sharp and obsessive.  It is good in fact, that Hermione will need his Potions expertise to survive and that he is there (will be, I believe, hope, pray) to provide it for her.

I like how you've got Hermione as stubborn and prone to going 'too far' - she feels very in character.

Snape is going to feel pretty guilty when he finds out that Hermione is ill and has been sleeping outside his door.

This story really chokes me up. Hermione seems to be going out of her way to spend time with him to learn more about him now that she knows the truth about his loyalties. It is too bad that she will not live long enough to really break down all his barriers. I can understand why Snape wants to shun the Wizarding World. All his interpersonal relationships were based upon being used by others and/or being liked for how useful he could be, or being despised for who he was or who he was perceived to be. No one seemed to know the real Severus Snape.

So, so beautifully written - this is unfolding very nicely!

So much for Hermione thinking she's on the right track!  Good thing that she's a very persistent Gryffindor.

I'm very much enjoying this.  Snape is very IC and it'll be interesting to see how things develop, both between them and in terms of the curse on Hermione.

Poor Hermione, trying to so something nice only to have it backfire.  Man, Severus can be so obtuse sometimes.  QUite aggravating really, but, alas, he wouldn't be Severus if he wasn't stubborn and obstinate.  Nice chapter.

This story makes me tear up.  She wants to save him because she can't save herself.

That was so final, I had to go check the status of the story.  You scared me, almost felt like you were going to leave it there.  I am eagerly looking forward to reading more.

Hermione's still a proper Gryffindor, prone to acting rashly, with the best intentions. I trust Snape will understand that she only had his best interests in mind though, once he's had some time to fume about it on his own.

Excellent chapter. I can imagine Snape's discomfort and surprise at seeing how much Hermione has suffered over his death and his tragic life. Please, oh please, tell me that Snape is going to help Hermione find a cure for the mysterious curse that hit her in the leg.

I read the first two chapters of this story on Ashwinder, and then hunted it down here in hopes that chapters were being posted more quickly. I was delighted to find two more chapters here. Needless to say, I'm eagerly awaiting updates.
