I enjoyed writing that chapter. I felt the Severus of my story would be a loving father worthy of being looked upon as a hero by his children.
i feel bad for severus... but i somehow i think his kids will forgive him.

They will. It's harder for his son, but Osiris is there to make him understand.

LOL, I pictured Severus in the dark thinking of ways to torture those two.
This chapter reminds me of when I got married. They said my dad cried. I can count on one hand the number of times my dad has cried. It made me cry. He never cried at any of my other sisters weddings. Thanks for bringing back that memory. Tamara

I agree with Lucius and Severus. The children should know what could happen so they can be on the look out for such things happening again. I also understand Hermione's point to, being a mother myself. Wanting to protect them from more harm. Even if its emotional harm or mental harm. I think its great how all the kids pull together to support the fallen. Brilliant chapter, AG. Tamara

I think some parents try to protect their children from so much, they grow up without a clue of how to live in this world. I was just reading this chapter, and realize, I named two of my cats after characters here. LOL. Vlad and Maks.

Ah thank you. I've always found them very interesting, and it made sense to include something like their legend here.
I think Bella wanted to die, the way she was egging him on, and I have always thought she had a death wish. Yay, Severus and Lucius for looking out for Harry, considering all they have done in their past, it's no wonder. Ok, my favorite line is Crooks at the end. Crooks and Osiris is my favorite charcters ever. Tamara

As I was writing it, I felt that Bella really didn't think Harry had it in him to kill her. But she really miscalculated Harry's hate for her.I loved Crooks and Osiris. Of all the things I've written, writing them has been my favorite.
Yes now thats what I'm talking about. Too bad Bella isn't an Animagus also. lol Tamara

I'm glad you see that too. I got a lot of grief for this. She's a mother and as much as she loves her husband and son, she can't go into some crazy adventure. She realizes there are others plenty qualified to get Severus and Raven to safety, not to mention if anything happened to her, her daughter would be motherless and possibly fatherless.I always tried to make my writing of the kids with a little of their personalities from the books, but I also tried to imagine how they might have matured. That made sense to me.
Something bad is going to happen isn't it? No don't tell me. My goodness AG, you have me on the edge of my seat. Well done. Tamara
