Has this story been posted before? I think I recognice the sceene with "who's gonna loose their job" and "How to ensnare Severus attention list". If it is a reposting, I hope that means that the story will be finished, I don't think the story I had in mind ever was finished. Any way, very interesting 2 chapters, I truly enjoyed reading them and hope to see more of your story soon!!!!

Chapter 2 has had the corrections requested made and is waiting to be uploaded. I'm guessing that'll take a couple of days, at the most. Chapter 3 (the final chapter) has been posted and is waiting for approval as well. Look for them both soon! :-)

This is a very excellent first chapter. I'm already hooked on this story. I'm practically dying to know how Severus will react to seeing Hermione again. I feel bad for the two of them. He thought she was playing a joke on him, but when in fact, she really had those feelings for him. Talk about rejection. I wonder if Severus thought at all about Hermione while she was gone. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Silly, thick-headed man not willing to believe someone could truly want them, let alone believe they deserve to be happy... that was kind of my starting point with Severus. Well, Severus is being his usual charming self (tongue in cheek). Hermione definatly has her work cut out for her. I like the beginning.

Thank you!!!!! Yes, our Hermione is definitely a Gryffindor. :-) And, that forwardness (I do believe that is a word - if not, I like it!) I think is what would attract a man like Severus. I don't see him with some shrinking violet, you know? He has far too strong of a personality. IMHO, anyone not equally as strong would just get walked all over in the process and he'd never respect her.Thanks again for reviewing! I hope you like Chapter 2 and 3.

Hmm. I wanted her to stick up for herself. I think she would have been agnry in the first place, and then when he was so rude to her, at first she gave it back to him, but then she backed down and felt stupid and sorry, I wish she wouldn't have. I wanted her to show some strength.
The writing is well written, and you have a way with words. I just hope Hermione steps up to the plate and gets angry and hurt when it makes sense that she would--and stays that way until he does something towards fixing it. I don't want to see her persuing him when she clearly should be stand-iffish because of the way he's treating her.
Ooh! You've got me going. I'm excited to read on and see where this goes. I do hope that Hermione hold sher ground. I don't want to see a weak Hermione who allows herself to be trampled upon just because she wants him so much!, you know? I want to see her strong. I want him to have to work for her too. She's a grown woman now. The embarrassment she felt at the incident as a teenager should now, I think, be replaced by a mature sort of irritation. I mean, it's been all these years. I would think that the embarrassment would have turned to hurt and then to anger long ago. We'll see... reading on!

so far so good. I could just picture Hermione loosing her cool and throwing cake at Severus, I was surprised he didn't blow.
