Hm, I thought that was implied by her ending up running the place at her husband's shoulder... and all the changes she'd introduce would render that woman's attitude obsolete.

I might end up doing a one-shot from Draco's POV that could include Ginny hexing that cow, but I don't have designs on telling how Hermione isgoing to reshape wizarding culture.

It was implied, and I do know what she plans to do.

But the end just made it seem like it wasn't finished... like you only had the first bit to kind of justify a way they could get together.

I may be alone it that feeling - and am no way complaining on how they got together, it was well written and I enjoyed it - but it just felt like you hadn't finished it. Like you'd said what you were going to, and that was it.

You'd written the cause, the effect, but not the overall result.

I may be being a bit harsh - my course is a bit full on right now about editing etc, so I've been really picking this sort of thing out in mine and class mates work *grin*

I wrote what I'd intended to show, which ended up with them bonded and left the 'happily ever after' alone. That could, possibly, be because it was 2:30 AM by the time I finished this? Naah, couldn't be that.

I do appreciate the concrit, and you're quite right about it being 'unfinished'. I'll just say that it stands as is by design (more or less) rather than by accident or omission. Still, next bunny attack, I might attempt more. I think I was afraid to tackle too much in this, as I have two 100+ page WIPs I've never posted at all ~

I strongly suspect that one of those eleven children will be a daughter who will want that top job for herself....

Thanks so much, Linda! This story was actually a quick and dirty bunny attack; there are at least three other WIP's that aren't so considerate. I do appreciate your vote of confidence in my creativity, I was really hoping to hit 'original' with a bunch of these ideas.

This bunny's brother is nagging me now to tell the same story from Draco's POV, which might permit me to carry it a bit further (or at least include Ginny hexing that witch from the Ministry) but I don't know if I'll give in and write it or not.

You're very welcome! I did toy with making her Minister, but since I'd framed this by means of 'the witch at the wizard's shoulder', I chose to let Draco get the job. I do suspect that one of their daughters might have designs on the top job, though! 

I liked the 'questionable actions' concept, and then the muse insisted on bending Hermione's actions to serve the old magic as well. I do love a 'happily ever after' ending!

Remember that she's only about 18 or 19 when this happens, so with the long magical lifespans, she has time to space them decently (saith she who had four in five years). Four in five years!  I feel overwhelmed with two.  It's a lovely story.  Is this the first you've posted?  If not, where are the others?  If so, I really encourage you to do more.  You have a definite gift.

I have one that I started during the past NaNo - the first draft, as far as I got, is posted on my seekerlover LJ. It's not abandoned, and I'm hoping that this successful completion has primed my muse's pump! I have two others in progress as well and hope to get seriously busy writing now.
