I actually did quite a bit of on-line research. Although rules vary from club to club, as Remus stated, some rules, such as no pictures and carrying a towel, are pretty universal. I would have been lurking behind a pillar, as well! I'm not nearly as 'cool and collected' as Remus and Hermione. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Did I really write 'griddle'? lol  I'm not sure how I came up with the idea. I know the story was in response to The Potter Place Winter 2007 Prompt Challenge. The prompt I chose was something like, 'not the usual someone walks in on someone else naked' story. I thought the idea of Remus seeking out herbal remedies made sense. I could also very easily see him chucking the whole wizarding world and living among Muggles. He's not usually very well accepted in the wizarding world! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I agree, the world needs more RL/HG ... and maybe some RL/HG/SS, as well! This story is complete and I have no plans for a sequel. Right now, I'm busily working away on my HG/SS story for the LJ Winter Gift Exchange. I have less than 4 weeks to finish it and I'm getting desperate ... lol. Afterwards, who knows what's next? Oh yes, I don't mind RL/HG/SS; it's my favourite threesome. I always have problems finding plot bunnies. Well, I find bunnies, but without plot. Therefore the two stories I've written so far are PWP, and also my next fic, which will be RL/HG by the way, will be PWP. LOL!

Ah, so you're the one responsible for this prompt! I like Remus ... a lot! I thought for a long time about a way to make the situation between them realistic. Since we really don't know a lot about Remus from Canon, I was able to postulate a theory to explain why he might embrace nudism. It seemed logical to me that he might seek refuge in places where he would not be judged. Since that was unlikely to happen in the wizarding world, the Muggle world offered a lot of possibilities. And with Hermione's 'history' of sticking up for the rights of others, it didn't seem like too big a jump to see her not only accepting his choice, but being willing to explore it. The story is all written in four chapters. I will be posting Chapter two later tonight or tomorrow. I hope you will continue to enjoy.Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment. I never thought of poor Neville's Boggart wearing a girdle, but it does paint quite the picture, doesn't it? Like you, I am primarily a HG/SS shipper but I must admit that I really like Remus a lot. I was quite happy to work with this prompt and give ol' Remus a shot at Hermione for a change! I also enjoy reading and writing a Hermione who has moved past (most of ) her insecurities and is ready to stand on equal footing with adult wizards and witches -- even those that are her former teachers. After all, they've gone through a war together. I wasn't quite sure what to write in the summary, actually. I wanted people to know it was a Remus/Hermione story, but I didn't want to give away too much, too soon. The story is all written in just chapters of approximately 4000 words each. I'll be post chapter two in a couple of days. (I hope, at least. Sometimes real-life rears its ugly head and there's no getting away from it!)Anyway, I'm glad you like the story so far. I'm with Hermione -- as long as I'm someplace safe, I love storms. As a matter of fact, I fall asleep every night to the sounds of thunder and rain. I have a CD called "Thunderstorm in the Wilderness" that I play every night. Your prompt was great, though Remus is a bit young to have been part of the 60's sexual revolution, but I got the general idea ... lol. I'm happy to know that you thought my characterisations of the two of them were good. We really don't know a lot about Remus from Canon, so it's a lot easier to ascribe attitudes and actions to him. Hermione's character is more defined in Canon (and Fanon, as well). I had a lot of fun writing this story. I'm terribly fond of Remus and I hope that Jo is kind to him in DH. I just loved the idea of Remus being knocked on his arse by a Cornish Pixie. I could just 'see' him pulling and pulling on that drawer knob and then ... whooosh! ... the drawer flies loose and down he goes! Nothin' hurt but his dignity! As for the hair conversation ... well, don't we all think our hair ... or our eyes ... or our ears ... look worse than they really do? Hermione despairs of ever taming her hair ... and Remus thinks it's gorgeous. On the other hand ... Remus thinks his lycanthropy makes him unsuitable ... and Hermione declares that there're 30 other nights per month, aren't there? It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it? I'm glad you liked it.
