This lightweight tale, a bit of Mary-Sue bashing with some Discworld flavor, reveals a little known secret about Severus Snape.

Someone who really, REALLY ought to be doing something else, but just keeps on writing.
Wondering why my stories take forever? Have a look at My Other Time Devourer: www.willametteartcenter.com I'm both the webmaster and the president of the Friends of the Visual Arts, a 501-C3 nonprofit in Salem, Oregon. We Put The Fun Back In Art.
Having 2 sweet little boys tends to drag things out too.
And what the heck, as long as it's self-pimpage time: If you just can't wait for the next chapter of Fair Ex, you can always go buy my book. It's not HP or fanfic but it's got that Fawkesy snark (in spades) It's here: www.turondo.com Warning: there's a bad word in the title.

Loved it - it's very funny. Thank you for sharing it with the readers here because I hadn't found it at the other place it was posted.
Some great lines (although there are many more):
"A four-minute dance had supplied her with eighteen months of daydreams"
"She knew there would be a problem in the office. It was not exactly designed with feng shui in mind. Or at least not the sort of shui that encouraged fenging."
I also loved that fact that SS works to create these situations every year - perfect.

Yeah, I love that idea too--all that skulking and brooding, when he's secretly got them lining up in the dungeons...
love it love it love it. what a great twist: a snape who secretly has game! the sly bastard.
and you have a gift for great turns of phrase, possibly my favorite being, "the sort of shui that encouraged fenging."

*bows* Yeah, I kinda like that whole secretly-oversexed-Snape concept. He's laughing all the way to the bed, so to speak.
Eleven? Eleven - well then. Just amazing how this twisted at the end. What a surprise it was.

Talk about feast or famine, eh?
This is wonderful terminal velocity! Snape swings both ways! God who wouldn't want to shag him? Nerdittude! Early Librarian motif! Please I beg you on bended knee write more sic fic!

*sporfle* I gotta finish Book 7 and Fair Exchanges first. Besides, this stuff's harder to write--I don't really do sic-fic justice.
Hahaha. Snape... hahaha. i can totally see him doing that. the counting how many i mean.I wanna be number 12!
Response from Fawkes_07 (Author of Memoirs of a Seventh-Year Slytherin)
hee hee--you know those little "Take A Number" machines they have at the DMV? *snerk*
Ooh, sneaky, sexy Snape. I love it. Just goes to show, it's the quiet ones you have to watch!

Ain't that the truth!
I thought it was funny. I usually stay clear of Mary-Sues, but since it was your work, I had to read it. Pretty good. :-)

Thanks. It was just something silly--one of the first fanfics I wrote, actually. I love the thought of sly old Sev having to line them up beside the bed at the end of the year... that hound!
