I am in my late 50's and I didn't even start reading Harry Potter until after the third book came out. My granddaughter got me 'hooked on Potter,' and while surfing the net one day, I found a fanfiction site. That was it! My first story, "Renaissance," was published on Ashwinder a month later and I've been writing ever since. I am primarily a HG/SS shipper, but I also enjoy reading and writing RL/SS. I live in Tampa, Florida with my wonderfully adoring and supportive husband, and three completely spoiled cats. (Kallie, Mysha, and Smudge {who was the inspiration for the cat that Severus gives Hermione in my story "Renaissance."}) I'm always happy to correspond with my readers and I answer ALL reviews. I'm always looking for plot-bunnies, so feel free to throw some ideas out.
Reviews for What Happens in Vegas ...
The fluffing of the hair nearly made me spit my tea on my screen. LOL. Nice bit, and love that the rest is left to the imagination of the reader. Afterall, as the title says, what happens in Vegas... :)
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
My point exactly! Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment.
The Prestige....Tw, ah maybe I better keep silent (great movie and great story)
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
Yes, we don't want to spoil all the secrets, do we? Thanks for reading and reviewing.
“We’re in Atlantic City,” Hermione said dryly. For that alone you get a ten. Cute story.
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
Thank you so much!
:-) That was cool!I'd love a sequel.
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, but it was written as a one-shot and I really don't have any plans for a sequel. I'm flattered that you want one, though! Thanks for reading and reviewing.
Awwwww man you stopped just when things could have gotten nakkid!!! My favorite line is Hey, girlfriend, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!”“We’re in Atlantic City,” Hermione said dryly.“Same principle,” Denise replied.
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
This was just a fluffy little piece I wrote as a thank you gift for GinnyWeasley31 after one of the HG/SS story exchanges. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and sorry they didn't get nekkid for you! Thanks for reading and commenting.
Awww, that's sweet, and I wonder if there's a sequel.
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I have no plans for a sequel, but I'm flattered that you like the story enough to want one! Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review. And thanks for the stars!
Did you have to stop there? C'mon...just a bit of a sequel for us....PLEASE?!?!?
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm flattered that you like the story enough to want it to continue, but right now, I have no plans for a sequel. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment. It is appreciated.

*sigh*
“Hey, girlfriend, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” “We’re in Atlantic City,” Hermione said dryly.
That made me snort juice out my nose.
Really nice one-shot!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. I hope the juice didn't hit the monitor or keyboard ...I wanted to use the 'what happens in Vegas' line, but I didn't want the story to take place in Vegas. I thought that Snape would hide out in the less flamboyant Atlantic City. I thought having Hermione respond this way covered the bases. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a review. It is appreciated. And thanks for the stars!
“We’re in Atlantic City,” Hermione said dryly.LOL! I love that line. I've never been to Vegas, but I have to Atlantic City a few times - I do miss the boardwalk, I do!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I've never been to either one, but I imagine that each city has its share of, shall we say, less reputable places. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for reading and reviewing. And thank you for all the lovely stars!
That was delightful!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to post a comment. It is appreciated.
What a fun and enjoyable story! There was a certain sense of melencholy due to the fact that they were both hiding from their past...but all the best stories make me feel a variety of emotions. There were several parts that made me laugh out loud, particulary Snape's line about using a new shampoo, and also Hermione's very dry response of "We're in Atlantic City."
While I would absolute welcome reading more of Halle and Sebastian...I think the ending was lovely...leaving us to imagine our own ending. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. It was fun to write, and you're exactly right -- they are both hiding from the past. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review.
Wow *blinks* that was really good. Please continue, I really want to know what happens next. I will beg if it comes to it. I thought i recognised it from 'the Prestige'. Very nice. I loved it.
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm glad you liked the story, and I'm really flattered that you would like it to continue, but at this time have no plans to go any further with this one. I made sure to give credit for Snape's last trick to the movie I saw it in. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a review. It is appreciated.P.S. Please don't beg -- it's so undignified! lol
Oh, this was great! Loved the idea of Snape being a muggle magician and their lines! And I join in for the chorus for more of this story. It's too good a premise for a longer story to just end it there!

I can tell you how delighted I am with the reception this story got. I'm almost embarassed to admit that I knocked it out in about an hour. (I spent a lot of time polishing, of course, but the basic story was done quickly.) At this time, I have no plans to expand or extend this story, but I appreciate the fact that you like it well enough to want more. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a review. And thank you for all the lovely stars!

Arrgghhhh! You can't mean to leave us (them) here. This is a wonderful beginning to at dinner - flirting - tasty but tasteful lemons etc. I respect if it is all you want to write, but I promise you I would read the rest should you ever write it....
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm flattered that you like the story enough to want to see it continue, but I think I'm done with this one. It was never meant to be more than a brief interlude. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review.
LOL, very cute ending there. I get the feeling she um...stayed for more than supper.
On a side note, I loved The Prestige, and The Illusionist. Two excellent movies!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm glad you liked it. I'll never tell what happened after supper, but will leave that to the imaginations of my readers. I never saw "The Illusionist," and I was quite confused by "The Prestige." I had to have a serious discussion with my sister-in-law before I understood what was going on. Once I 'got it', though, I liked it. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review. And thank you for all the lovely stars!
Response from ancientgirl (Reviewer)
Oh! Do yourself a favor and rent the Illusionist. I gaurantee you, you will love it. I liked it better than the Prestige.
Very cute! You must have read my mind too! I've been thinking of posting a challenge something like this myself. Something on the order of Severus having to or choosing to become a Muggle magician and Hermione either finding out and exposing him or finding out and becoming his assistant. I had him being a magician of a little more cheesy sort though Always love your stories!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm really surprised that no one has written a story utilising that premise. There must be stories out there, but I've never run across one. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review.
This was way too cute. You can't leave it here. How cruel can you be?!?!?!?! Please!!!!!!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
Cruel? Moi? I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to leave a review. And thank you for all the lovely stars!
Very cute. LOVE the line about "using a different shampoo these days". Tooo funny!!Wonderful.

*splutters* But, but, but....... No, no, you can't leave it like this! I'd love to read the conversation between them at dinner, at least!
Response from StormySkize (Author of What Happens in Vegas ...)
I'm glad you like the story well enough to want to read more, but I've no plans to continue the story. Thanks for reading and for taking the time to review. And thanks for the stars!
