I couldn't review right away, because I had to think about this a bit. You have me worried for Hermione, which is always a good sign. (A sign of good writing!) This chapter reminded me forcefully that you have marked this as a drama, not a romance. Yes, Sexy Severus is on the hunt (your predatory Potions pedagogue makes me glad I'm sitting down!), and yes, she isn't happy with Ron (and not just because she hasn't orgasmed lately; you mentioned other stuff).

But, Ron and Severus aside, Hermione's choices will have consequences other than whether or not she's content in bed. If you'd labeled this story fluff or romance, I wouldn't be thinking this hard. I'm very curious to see where you're taking this, but I don't think I'll take it for granted that Hermione and Severus will be shagging happily ever after. (Yet.)
