Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

This was such a fun story. Thanks!!!
Mischief managed. Great way to end a story!
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thank you, glad you liked my alternative for 'the end'.
Oh I enjoyed this. What an ending! I laughed at Severus's final thoughts and of course 'mischief managed' was perfect for the ending. Ron burning books? How clueless of him. *Shakes head in amusement.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thank you! I'm glad you found it funny! It was very, very clueless of Ron, even if he did have a little 'help' from Severus to make him do it...
now, if anyone says "all is well," THIS is what I want to read!!! Hermione & Severus = forever my OTP. Loved Severus' Slytherin tactics in having Hermione and WEasel come "clean" about each other. . . . .
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thanks, I'm pleased to hear it! Those Slytherin tactics were fun to write.
lovely, lovely, lovely. i especially liked the other perspectives. thanks
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thanks! The other POVs were fun to play around with, I'm glad you enjoyed them.
ok the last line is truly that one the cinches this story together and makes it worthy of more than five stars. it was an amusing tale, but allusion and irony are so much more effective.. :)as much as i enjoy the scheming snape, i prefer your other severus. but then this is only a one-shot so naturally this severus can't be nearly as 3D as one from a novel-length. either way, great idea and funny story!reminds me of some of my own trials *shifty eyes*~

Thanks! As this was written as a gift, I can't claim credit for the idea- that came with the prompt.I found scheming!Severus difficult to write. Well, more difficult than my usual Severus.
Response from sandstar08 (Reviewer)
oh i'm glad. i was secretly horrified that you had turned away from your other severus and i was ready to cry. but this is really good if the idea came as a prompt and you wrote it as a gift. it's usually very hard to respond to those situations compared to your own plot bunnies, but i think you've done an admirable job. i can't say with good conscience that it was the best story you've written but it was a cute stand-alone
Was reading your fic as one of the nominess for the SS/HG Awards Round 2. I remember it now from one of the earlier exchanges. It is a fun read. I enjoyed going through it again. The perspectives of Fawkes and the portrait in Snape's quarters added to the humor.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thanks, glad you enjoyed reading it again! Although quite a while since I wrote it, I do recall that writing those perspectives was fun.
Hahahahah, love how this worked out!
Still a perfectly brilliant story:-))
Muahahaha! Excellent plotting indeed. But the poor books...
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thank you! Poor books indeed. The fourth Unforgivable, burning books.
I just don't GET JKR writing Hermione and Ron together. I can see Harry in a pinch, but Ron? Anyway, end of rant. Loved your story. Snape was so smooth... Am going back for another read...
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
No offence to any R/Hr lovers out there, but I did read a convincing essay pointing to Ron and Hermione's behaviour around each other as pre-domestic violence warning signs, especially in HBP. I don't blame you for your little rant!Smooth!Snape is a joy to read, but I found a challenge to write.
Hear, Hear. I never liked the gormless red wonder, anyway. He's the last person in the Universe that Hermione should be romantically involved with. I only hope that JKR has book 7 end w/their being only friends, cos the most I can see btw. them is insipid puppy-love at best *rolleyes* Severus & Hermione arm-in-arm and liplocked is, as always, my preferred ship. That non-hangover 'relief' potion Herms gave to ronnikins was poetic justice. And she broke his broom, BWA ha haHA.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
I've nothing against Ron when he's nowhere near Hermione. Unfortunately for him, in canon he usually is in her vicinity. If Book 7 does end R/Hr, I think I'd prefer JKR to kill one of them before then- even if it's Hermione she offs.As for that potion, it seemed all the more fitting for Hermione to make it and Severus to administer it to the hapless Ron.As for the broom, what can I say? It'd be the least I'd have done in her place if my books were burned.
I loved Fawke's POV and Hermione breaking Ron's broom, though she should have cracked him over the head with it for burning her books! Fun Story.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Perhaps she should have, but he needed to realise what was happening. Giving him concussion wouldn't have allowed that! Glad you thought so!
What an excellent story...thanks
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Nice smiley! Thanks for the compliment.
WAHOO! Loved it. loved it. loved it. especially the last line. God that was perfect! "Mischief managed" Great!
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
As this was a gift fic, I aimed to please. 'Mischief managed' seemed to fit this far better than any other alternative. I can't remember if I've seen any other fics use it before this- however much I'd like to claim credit for it, I may have read it elsewhere and even if that's not the case, it's used with the Marauder's Map in canon. I can't even claim the plot with this fic!
Fun stuff - very enjoyable story! Thanks for sharing!
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thank you! It was enjoyable to write too, although Sneaky!Snape was a challenge for me to pull off.
I'd do far more if someone ever burned my books!
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Poor Hermione was doubtless in shock, or she'd have transfigured Ron into a broom and broken him. But Dumbledore was in the room too, so he'd probably have stopped her, although as he's presumably a bibliophile too he might have joined in.
Excellent! Thank you.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thanks, you're welcome.
Wicked, wicked man!
I'm glad she broke his broom, though.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Ron definitely deserved it! Poor thing is going to run screaming from any bookworm now, no doubt clutching his new broom.
I enjoyed the story very much. Add his Slytherin ways and mix in Ron's ability to make bad things worse and bam! Hehehe. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
A dodgy potion: two hours spent over a cauldron using several ingredients. A library of burning books: a bookworm's anguish. A broken broom: almost priceless. A night with true love (and hot sex): Slytherin manipulations of Gryffindors. Fellatio: hands stuck in bushy hair. Quidditch jock cowering as best mate's leg warmer: a healthy dose of fear. For everything else, there's Snape.Glad it tickled your fancy! Poor Ron- what can go wrong will go wrong for him.
Oh, that was entertaining!? I liked the different perspectives.? Thanks for the story!
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
Thanks for reviewing. I aimed to please. The different perspectives were largely to keep myself amused, but it's good to know that you liked them too.
Oi! I loved how you ended this fic....hahaha Mischief managed hahaha I hope Snape's is never finished, managed not finished.
Response from ayerf (Author of Snape the Seducer)
It seemed to fit better than 'the end' or 'finite incantatum'. Snape definitely will find himself managed if Hermione ever finds out the part he played!
