So I had to google ankh symbol so I could know what it looks like. Turns out I have a necklace with the ankh on it. I bought it because it looked cool. Ha. Now I am cool! Thanks for the one shot.

The idea of Severus talking to himself is unusual as well, but works here, so I have to commend you on that. He's normally such a closed character, so to speak, but by himself, I could definitely see Snape doing that :)
