Hello. Yes, an update is in the works. Believe me, my brain is working over this story as well as my other WIP. I promise you that the story has not been abandoned. It simply has to simmer a bit.
I think the only response I'm capable of after reading this chapter is, "Guh!" Possibly followed by swooning.

Absolutely!
She daydreamed of one day opening a bookshop here, somewhere where the more studious students could relax on Hogsmeade outings, someplace cozy and inviting … maybe someday.
Rereading this, I was pleasantly surprised to run across this foreshadowing of Strega Letteraria! I'm enjoying all of the story, of course, but that brought an extra smile and I just had to let you know.

Another fabulous chapter!!! I love the way you have Severus maintain his devotion to Hermione's journey into love. Anyone can engage in an act of heated sex, but only a caring man, like Severus is with Hermione, will devote the time and patience to making certain that her initiation to sexual intercourse will be so completely satisfying and without remorse.Good job!Beth

Severus' confessions were so endearing, so honest in their delivery. He is obviously smitten with her, and she with him.I'm glad that Harry and Ron came looking for her, otherwise she and Severus may not have found their way to the hut. The slow building to the ultimate goal of their sexual joining serves to increase the bliss of anticipation, and I'm glad that Severus understands the importance of anticipation to total appreciation and firmly cemented desire.You're doing a whale of a good job of building a satisfying tale!Beth

She orders Lady Chatterly’s Lover. He uses Legilimency on her with her invitation. They find themselves in the same dark alcove in a remote part of the castle. Very erotic! Hummm... this is going to be spectacular!I love this story. It's comming along nicely.

I should add a disclaimer *lol* "I reserve the right to torture my readers as I deem fit by not allowing the main characters to dispel the sexual tension." Well, they sort of did, but really, something like that just makes one obssess about more, doesn't it?

Because you know, he's absolutely right, and he's giving her a wonderful gift. Youth is like that--isn't it?--and it's better for it. The waiting, the exploring... all that pent up need... it makes the rst so much better than it is when we're adults and just dive into the main course.

I've read all three chapters of this story and it reminds me of Snape's famous 1st year speach."... I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses..."Snape is insinuating himself under Hermione's skin and ensnaring her senses. Quite provocative, I find...Great story! Hope to read more very soon.
