I am amazed and enthralled with the Harry Potter universe, with the emphasis on Snape. HG/SS is my favorite ship (you have been warned). I like sci-fi ? Star Wars, Quantum Leap, Star Trek, and Ray Bradbury to name a few. Horror also catches my interest as in Stephen King. I am a married, mother of two teenagers, multiple pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtle), and I work way too many hours. The rest is window dressing and subject to change without notice. I think this was one of the first HP fanfics I ever read. It's still awesome holiday fluff. :D
Wonderful! The build up of Snape's frustration without Hermione was perfect. This plot bunny works really well as a short story. If it were longer it would have lost some of the sweetness in anticipation. I am so glad to read something new from you! I am a bit behind in my emails so I just came across this cute ficlet and the great news about your husband. Wonderful to hear he is cancer free. Best wishes for the new year and the future in general :)

I like this piece! I read it earlier today when I didn't have enough time to review, and came back tonight and had to reread the whole thing because I really enjoyed it the first time. :) I think you framed the story really well - starting with a startling (to SS) conversation and then following how he felt from then on, always connecting back to that original conversation in sometimes subtle ways. I like how you ended as well. Thanks for writing & sharing!!

I enjoyed this, you do tend to notice things after they're gone and it's amusing to see Severus becoming obcessed after getting what he thinks he wants.I do have one question though. You say Hermione is the new Charms Professor, but mention Flitwick as still being there. Is Flitwick suppose to be teaching something else now?Anyway, well done! :)-Ali

At the beginning, it stated that Hermione taught levels one through four. Flitwick still teaches the upper levels. It would seem Minerva decided the curriculum was lacking in the basics and now has Flitwick teaching dueling to the upper levels, as well. Since both he and Severus are Dueling Masters, they occasional perform exhibitions for the students. But since this information was not pertinent to the story, I decided not to include it in the original telling of the tale...*grin
And on a side not, I'm glad you like the story. A second one-shot will be up in a few days detailing what happened after the end of You Win since quite a few have asked for a continuation. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

WOW....that was a great story. I liked the part when she fell into his lap....and the tormenting comment she made to him about being tied up naked on his bed. nothing like a visual to torment the person you are attracted to.
