A post-war ficlet written for 30minutefics LJ community. The prompt was a scar. Fluffy-angst, if that's possible.

Reviews for Time For Us
Ok, so I have always thought that you write brilliantly. This only confirms it. So sad to lose a child, and not just one who dies from something unpreventable, but through outright murder. Wonderfully emotional, although you don't realize it until the very end exactly how emotional you are going to have to be about it. You have to think about it for a second, and it's great that you don't really see it coming. I am assuming that the scar wasn't actually from the war, but from a caesarian section. Tricksy Salty! ;) BTW, I obviously got to read it before I thought I would.

You did read it before you thought! You are so very, very kind! And yes, I can't imagine being returned in that condition--whole but so very not whole. I'm glad it was emotional and not sappy! LOL. Thanks dear! And good luck for your paper.
Oh my but that is heart breaking! well done

Then you're most likely on the right track. thanks!
That sent shivers down my spine just thinking about the implications. It's a very gruesome thought, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. Very believable and well-written.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, the implications are gruesome.
Sad, but well-done. I like how you've left a lot to the imagination.

Thanks. What went on (in my mind) was pretty gruesome. i needed to leave it to the imagination!
I like it! It makes an interesting read, short and to the point.

Grr... Lucius in a bad form. Darn. Dramatic and very sad. :(
