Oh my, what an interesting little glimpse into Hermione and Severus' world. I love how you've written him. I can totally see him reacting in that fashion to that particular inquiry. For a man who is feared and ducked away from by so many, to be that self conscious underneath, it just makes him that much more intriguing to read about. I totally enjoyed this.
