Reviews for Saint Valentine's Liquorice
Someone just recced this, and I"m so glad they did. What a sexy piece! I admire you for using all those various prompts in a one-shot and doing it well.
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
This is an old one! You are absolutely correct--it was an exercise in creativity to put all the prompts into one piece. Thank you for reading it. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, yes, yes! Happy happy day. Severus Snape is here to stay. Now the fun of keeping the relationship under wraps until the end of the year. It is so much more fun when you know you are being a dirty girl who lets her Professor fuck her even though it's against the rules. How naughty can they be? How many places in the school can they engage in carnal activities without getting caught? The library, the hallway alcoves, his office, his classroom, during class. The list could go on and I'd like to read about their exhibitionist proclivities. Great story. You left it open for more chapters.
Oh dear, oh wow, oh dear. My brain has gone all fuzzy and I'm quite a bit less coherent than usual. Wow!
(In English: This was a very lovely one-shot, I am glad you wrote it.)
This was quite enjoyable. :)
For me, this story turned on the last sentence: "Some things were too sacred to exploit." I thought the rest of the story was HOT, and with the last sentence you added the depth of communication that sex creates. Thank you. I think this story is beautiful.
Hot and hilarious! Thank you.
I'm glad your friend passed her test . That was fun!
Oh gods I couldn't stop giggling. I love it. I have so much of you writing and I am glad that you are so entertaining. Thank you.
Ah, my dear Subversa! This is so much better than I remembered! I want my own Potions Master, just like this one. *pouts* I love the last bit with Malfoy. Sigh. You even take PWP to a whole 'nother level, dearest.
WOW! I think I need a cold shower after that one! I don't know if that's the "style" I would have used to get his attention, but it sure made for a great read!! And as wonderful as the sex is (whew there I go again) I almost love the fact that Draco saw them and wouldn't use it against them the best. One more piece of red, hot sexy goodness to fall from your fingertips. LOVE IT!! You SO rock!

Wow! So pleased to know you liked it,

. It would not have been my way to do it, either, I don't think.
I think that *you* rock, darlin' -- thanks for the enthusiasm!
I think i've read this before. always good to read stories again. never know what might have been missed..

Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
No, Patty, this is a one-shot. Thanks so much for leaving a note for me!

You are most welcome Sweets
HOT!!! oh and i went to that site...i like how it says "also not a cod fish" underneith it.
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed it. I had no idea what a codpiece was before I wrote this fic ...
Wow... wow.... can I say that again? Wow.... I am still amazed, sitting here, after finishing this, about how completely intimate and lucious and original this raw expression of desire and overwhealming love is expressed. I absolutely love how Snape stayed completely in control and snide the entire time... ("Run litlte girl, run") Oh my God, can it get any better than that? I am bleary eyed imagining how erotic that would be to hear that while splayed over a bed in some ancient dungeon... I also love how Hermione let her feelings for him override any insecurities which allowed him to be "himself" without her getting any silly hurt feelings... and how yet she melted him with her complete honesty.I loved this, thank you for sharing.
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
What a lovely review! Thank you! I "felt" this one very strongly when writing it; it is always my goal to evoke emotion in the reader, comparable to what I feel when I write it. I appreciate your note more than you know.
Hunnybunch is a very naughty girl. The control I had to use to stop myself from scrolling down to find the codpiece was immense. Restrain myself, I did, and phew…
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
Ah, a codpiece afficianado! You are quite correct; hunnybunch is a very bad girl, which is no doubt why I love her! You were certainly a very brave girl, showing all that restraint, and I applaud you!
Lovely story. Is it a one shot? I didn't see if it was complete. It works great as a one shot though. Thanks for sharing.

To receive a review from She-Who-Inspired-Me-to-Try-to-Write is beyond wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to leave a note.It is indeed a one-shot, and far from my usual style. I'm not comfortable writing erotica. Thank you for reading.
Response from ancientgirl (Reviewer)
You flatter me and you are too kind. But thank you.I really enjoyed this.Hey, you aren't comfortable writing erotica? LOL, neither am I. I'm trying little by little to get into it, even if its just for the one or two scenes I have in my stories. But damn, it's hard!
Fun story, and I really liked the idea of Draco being touched by the moment. I love codpieces, they are a lot of fun. My husband has one similar to the one in the link we made for Twelth Night some years ago - it's reversible, with the softest black leather on one side and wolf fur on the other. My biggest problem was I found both sides very strokable, which nearly caused a big problem for my husband as I unconciously kept reaching for it
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
Now, why is it that I don't see your husband as objecting to that treatment?I have never met a codpiece in person, so I had to research on the Internet to find out how to fit it into the story. I imagine that hunnybunch had more of a leather-with-spikes thing in mind! Thanks for the note, Dawn!
Response from DawnEB (Reviewer)
It wouldn't have been a problem if we weren't in a room with 40 - 50 other people at the time
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
Ah, a wicked woman after my own heart! Well done, my girl, well done! With me, it's always art museums. My husband has seen the inside of more than one ladies' loo at such times ..<~~ him<~~ me
Wow! That was excitingly beutiful.

Brilliant!

Don't drink that water too fast -- you'll get brain freeze! Seriously, though, I am pleased to know that you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to leave a note!
I really enjoyed this story. Thank you for posting. Yum!
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
Squee! What a nice response from someone whose work I admire! Thank you, SW~
Yeah. Codpieces are great.
Nice job. You did a very good job at displaying their emotions (frustrations) in this story. Great writing...keep it up.~Jen
Loved it!! I read the conditions at the beginning and thought - how on earth will you fit all that in. i did laugh at the codpiece, and I loved this line: " "Run, little girl," he snarled. "Run now." " The right amount of hotness, humour and depth added by the last line. Thankyou!
I love your ending line. "Some things were too sacred to exploit." That was a very nice touch.
Overall, seriously hot. Love the set up, and the chocolate frosting was a very nice touch. LOL.
Enjoyable smut.
She passed, and we all get a gift. Thank you
This is one of the funniest and most erotic stories I've ever read! Where did you come up with this? I have laughed so hard and for so long that my face hurts!!!!!You are too good!Laughingly,BethPS- 1000 Points for sheer brilliance.
Response from Subversa (Author of Saint Valentine's Liquorice)
This one really was written as a made-to-order present for hunnybunch, when she passed her oral exams in her master's program. Believe me, I *never* would have made a student-teacher PWP with chocolate icing and a codpiece except under duress!I thought it was kind of funny, too, but oddly enough, people seldom ever comment on the humour ...
