And you've done it so nicely.Your stories are always worth waiting for, as excruciating as the wait may be...As a mom, I know that the Missions cannot be your priority but you did once say, "*Ferv sees herself writing MISSION 387 whilst reclining in her rocking chair at the ripe old age of 97*" and while we, your readers, will hold up to our end of the bargain: reading, reviewing, and sending figurative cookies and chocolate (ONLY because legally you can't accept payment, otherwise we'd be sending the literal kind) I'm sure you want to make that long ago statement true.  We will always be here drooling and begging for more. So might there be another Mission? Maybe, Mission: Put Hermione In The Pudding Club...There is nothing, NOTHING saying you have to stay away from plot in the Mission series. Anything Fervilicious will be acceptable to your fans. I promise.I think I've asked enough now. Sorry for the long post but this Mission, while satisfying the true HG/SS shipper in me, has also left me yearning for more. Finally.Finally, he gets her alone.  No other guys to compete with, share her with, squabble with.Severus has always been the one to keep his distance, making her call him "sir."  Sirius is the one who is up for anything with anyone, Remus is the one who is tender but not smitten, and Severus is the one who only has eyes for her, but is too afraid of being vulnerable to let it show.I often wondered if he regretted introducing her to sex in the context of multiple partners -- how was only one man going to compare with that level of intense stimulation?  But I think you have made it clear throughout your stories that he doesn't feel confident that she would agree to being only with him.  So he settles for sharing ... until this night.  It makes you wonder if he had been confident enough to ask her to his home when he met her in the alley, would she have gone?  But he won't risk rejection, so he gets her to agree by bargaining with what he thinks she wants.  But doesn't it seem that what she really wants is him?I like the way you write this chapter -- as if they are just now beginning their relationship.  This is not the BDSM Severus she is used to.  This man is a different man.  A man who shares his private domain, his name, and his heart.  He truly isn't the same guy who was playing poker those few months ago.  He has gone from being a disdainful intimacy-phobe to longing for intimacy and specifically intimacy with her.  He is always seeking reassurance, that he is necessary, that he is the one she wants and not just one of the three-ring circus she got indoctrinated into.  He has had to face his fear of rejection in order to get what he wants, and luckily he does.I like the way you write Hermione's arc.  She goes from innocent, but determined to turned on, but frustrated to welcome, but boy-toy to a little weary of the shallowness and finally to cherished.  I can't imagine her waking the next morning and wanting to hook back up with Sirius and Remus.  She seems to be longing for something more substantial and she found it.For a PWP, your series has a lot of plot and characters that aren't paper-thin.  Thank you for sharing your imagination with us.
