Sun, this was brilliant!  Very funny in spots, poignant in others and your characters were so well-drawn.  I loved Sev's 'journey' in the fic and I think you wrote young, inexperienced Hermione very well.  Thanks so much, I really enjoyed it!

Yes, I agree, showing up to her gigolo's with a bag full of books and parchments is just so Hermione.I have to admit, I'm glad you aren't compromising on him and are letting him be so manipulative.  It rings so true.

Vintage Snape (really, what he would be like in canon if Jo had the balls) in the second section! I like how you've written him with such a conflicted mind. 

Sun, really interesting Severus this chapter.  So willing to be manipulative in the beginning (his letter was a Slytherin masterpiece) and yet, his feelings changed mid-stream...fascinating that he felt 'guilt' at being with Lonnie.  Hmmmm.  And Hermione's a bit put out about his hickey!  This story just keeps getting better.  Can't wait to see what you do with them on their first 'business meeting.'

Oh--my--goodness.  You twisty author.  I thought I knew where you were taking this then Hermione's insecurities and 'search' added that extra depth/dimension to the story! Lovely so far!

Hehehe.  Sev hoodwinked Luna and the girls with his story--so very Slytherin.  And the chapter ends with Hermione in his arms; poor Hermione, having to deal with jerks like Ron, Harry and Charlie!

Well, Sunshine, I found this when I hit "Random Story" and I'm so glad I did!  Really amusing premise and I can't wait to read and see where you take this.  Sev's declaration of loneliness is very moving--and his gigolo plan is hilarious!

You're the mistress of irony, Sun.  Hermione should be "honest about her ulterior motives."  Priceless!   I forgot to breath for a couple of minutes when I was reading about Hermione's first owl--such a close call!  I would imagine she will put the pieces together, eventually.
