Filius and Pomona always seem to be off key when it comes to how they feel about each other. Will they be able to find the harmony of love?

I am a 37 year old wife and mother and began reading fanfiction in the middle of last year. Soon it revived my desire to write, which had lain dormant for a number of years, and I couldn't be happier. I do hope you enjoy my stories as I empty my head of them.
Thanks to MMADfan I proudly ship AD/MM, and thanks to OSUSprinks I proudly ship FF/PS. I am also rather fond of SS/OC and am beginning to appreciate the SS/HG ship thanks to Subversa.
Happy Reading and writing!!
Cheers!!

Reviews for Love is the Music of Our Hearts
Oh, dear. For a Ravenclaw, he's having a hard time putting two and two together!Taurean is quite some wizard! A pity he's becoming interested in a witch whose heart is elsewhere. I hope he'll end up with someone nice. I am looking forward to the next chapter! (For some reason, I only recently noticed you were posting this story. At least that gave me a few chapters to catch up on!)
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Do you like Taurean? I rather like him a lot. Filius is having a hard time, perhaps a shove in the right direction may help? =o) Sprinkles and I have been working on this story for quite some time. I have really enjoyed writing it. If life permits, I hope to post more frequently. There are 12 chapters altogether. And I am glad you noticed the posting.{hugs}
Response from MMADfan (Reviewer)
I like Taurean very, very much! I'd love to see more of him -- though of course not with Pomona, except in a friendly sort of way. :-)Life does not always permit as much engagement with fanfic writing as we'd like, does it? I participated in a fest this summer and am doing a Christmas exchange this fall/winter, both in part so that I have a push to keep writing. I do need to get crackin' on my WIPs, but life just hasn't been very cooperative lately. I'm very glad I noticed the posting, too, since it gave me a sweet and amusing diversion! I look forward to the next chapter whenever you can post it!
LOL! Poor Sinistra! But it was lovely how she switched gears so quickly. But what a little ninny Filius is! Sinistra can see how Pomona looks at him, but he is blind. *sigh* I don't think that's how love is supposed to be blind!I'm looking forward to his reaction to the handsome bartender!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
I'm glad you liked that. It was the last thing Filius expected. lol. He is blind, isn't he? I am thinking some fine tuning is needed. Thank you so much for your reviews. =o)
Goodness! A tatoo! And inked while drunk -- I wonder if she will remember in the morning. She certainly took at least one of Ro's suggestions, but maybe she should have stuck with one that wasn't quite so permanent! lol!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Lol! Ahh, the stupid things alcohol can make us do when our judgement is impaired. Pomona strikes me as the type to do something bold but understated. While her judgement was impaired, it wasn't so far gone that she didn't pick a place that wasn't easy to conceal. ;)
Awww, poor Pomona!!! I do hope that Filius is reciprocating her feelings and just not getting it across very well.
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
As you know, for a Ravenclaw, Filius isn't always as sharp when it comes to love. But he will have some help along the way. =o)
*snip*
“I suggest you unhand her this moment, you brute!” Filius exclaimed, his wand pointed directly at Taurean. His stance suggesting he was ready to duel or hex if needed. “Pomona? Are you all right?”Pomona leaned further into Taurean, hiding her face. Oh, Merlin! Of all times for Filius to be available, why now?

LOLOLOLOZZZZZZ

“Charmed, I’m sure,” Filius replied.

SNARK!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
I am glad you liked that bit. Poor Pomona. At this point, Filius isn't who she wants to see, lol. And see, Severus isn't the only wizard who can dish out the snark. Filius just has to have the right incentive. =o)
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
Oh hell, I never though Severus had the paten on SNARK ... if anything, he learned it from Minerva! She's full of it!
Well this was a fun chapter. I have to say, I really liked the way Celeste gave up the goose at the end of her ... um ... seduction ... I really liked that bit, "Well at least I tried!"
Hee hee ... sad that poor Celeste can't find anyone to talk "shop" with ... especially in a place like Hogwarts!
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
This bit ...
Celeste stared at him a moment longer before sighing. With a wave of her wand, her robes were suddenly cut in her standard teaching style, the lights were lit, and her hair was in its usual bun.“Well hell, at least I tried.” She chugged back the bubbly drink in one shot and began to pour again. “Are you sure you want to stick with water? I have a full bar in the corner, and Dearborn keeps it stocked with soda water, grenadine, and cherries among other things if you’d like something else.”
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Sorry it has taken a bit to reply to your reviews. Personal issues have been keeping me busy. I am glad you are enjoying the story so far. Celeste did try to seduce Filius, lol. But I think his heart is too far gone. And I agree, it is a shame Celeste can't find someone to talk shop with.Thank you very much for your review. =o)
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
It takes quite a secure and humble person to accept rejection so easily ... especially without resulting ire directed at the desired subject ... not to mention with humor! I likes this lassie!
Yeah *twenty lashes with a wet noodle* no worries on the tardiness ... I seem to have fallen into that lake as well.
Awwwwwwwwww!
Poor Pomona!
Hopefully a night out with the girls and a few brews can help raise her spirits, or at least, depress her doubts.
I laughed out lout at this line ...
Pomona's heart shattered into small pieces at his excited statement. No, she wanted to scream at him. You should be with me, not that cow, Sinistra, she thought vehemently.
*sad face*
I know how that feels!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Thanks for your review. I forgot to mention that this story was a collaboration with OSUSprinks as well. We have been working on this story for just about a year. All born from an idea I had from a Valentine's (chocolate) lecture given every year by dmf1984.Truthfully, it may have been more than a year, but the bulk has been from this past year. I too know that feeling and it does suck! There are twelve chapters including an epilogue already written. They only need a bit of editing. We hope you enjoy the journey. =o)Thanks,Stef
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
Woot! I am indeed, a fortunate reader! 12 chappies already done and waiting in the queue!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
They aren't in the queue already. But they will post as soon as I can get them validated. I hope to update once a week, or sooner if I can. =o)
Awww, this was lovely to see and understand Filius' point of view towards Pomona and himself in relation to her, Hogwarts and others. Go, Filius, go!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
:) I love the wee cheerleader. Thanks. I am glad you liked it. Filius knows how he feels, but it isn't easy to know how others feel. =o)
Hmmmm... Well, I do hope this Taurean is a true gentleman with Pomona *frowning* and that her letting her hair down a bit and trying to go with the flow won't bring any harm her way... Beautiful work!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Thank you muchly for your review. I kind of like Taurean, and I hope you will too. I look forward to what you think in future chapters. You have me grinning from ear to ear. =o)
Poor Pomona, with her heart aching and breaking, longing for Filius to truly 'see' her... Lovely, lovely work!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Thank you! The poor witch may be outta her league trying to land Filius, but we can't say she didn't try. =o) Sometimes you have to give them a swift kick to make them see what is right in front of their face.
Somehow, I forgot to favorite this story so I'd get update notices! Well, now I have a few chapters to catch up on. :-)I really like Taurean. He's sweet and thoughtful, and hopefully he'll find a witch who's not already in love with someone else!Lovely chapter!
Response from Stefdarlin (Author of Love is the Music of Our Hearts)
Hi there! Sorry I haven't responded before now. But life around here always seems to be cray cray lately. Anyway, I am so very glad you like Taurean. I kinda love him. His heart is in the right place where Pomona is concerned at least. And you are right, I hope he will find a lovely witch too. Thank you so much for your review. It makes me very happy that you are reading this. =o) Cheers!Stef =o)
