Huh, didn't see that coming! Or perhaps I suspected it! You are really drawing me in with this mystery about the castle. Is it something to do with Severus? Is he causing it, or is it part of the curse he was under?You are doing a very good job of writing this mystery, giving us just enough information. Not so much that we get it too soon, and not so little that it is just confusing. I think that that is a difficult writing job, and you are doing it very well.

Yea! Severus is free, maybe he knows why the castle is throwing a hissy fit.

Three inconsistancies:(1) Let's not check the room of requirement, cause it was burned out. (2) Send out a house elf for a bottle of wine.  Thanks, elf...what took you so long? (3) Once personally knew a crow who collected shiny things, but not a raven. Severus needed help, so who better than an ex girl friend specializing in charms and house elves who cater. Guessing about the real culprit behind all the weird occurances. Love your mystery.  JF

I just knew that beautiful raven had to be Severus... he just had to be... and there he is, right there on the rug in front of Hermione's fireplace- nekked as the day he was born.  Be still, my heart.I think I would like to have a few quiet moments to ponder this revelation and our Severus in all his glory.  ...iz pondering...   Yes, well thank you for that.  Now I'm off to the next chapter—except there isn't one—yet.  I'll just sit here quietly keeping watch over Severus while you go wrangle up that next chappie, why don't I?Godz! I KNEW the raven was Severus!!! Maybe he can finally explain what the HELL happened to him. I'm still wondering if he's the one responsible for the castle going all wonky. It seems that whatever was causing the mishaps, was doing it to get attention.

Curious...why would a raven be attempting to make off with bits of Hermione's jewelry, and especially if it's a wizard (*cough* Severus *cough*) in disguise?  It's not a magpie!

(*Looking very smug*)...Called it!  I knew the raven had to be Severus -- although in all fairness, it wasn't all that hard to figure out.  I hope he wasn't too distressed when Wilhelmina cast that spell on him...it sounds as if it might have hurt him.  There isn't much that could leave the Potions Master trembling.  (Hoo boy...is he ever going to be upset when he realizes that he's been left naked in front of a former student -- he's usually buttoned up right to the neck!)  Now the question is...who managed to get the jump on him and trap him in raven form, and what other nefarious designs might he/she/they have?

Well, there's one mystery solved, lol.  I hope he has some answers as to what is going on, although somehow, I'm not feeling very optimistic.  I suppose at least it's one more wizard on the case.  Can't wait to see Hermione's reaction!

Eeep!  I didn't review this chapter, and now there's another.  This one was good, as always, but I want to move on and see what happens, so no more chatting.  Off to read ...

That's about what I figured. Wonder why he hid from Wilhelmina for so long? And now I wonder how much the magical oddities are tied to him? And what the reaction of the others will be to who was trapped as a raven? Oh and how the others will react to finding Severus alive? I'm really loving this story.

The castle seems to be building up to something, what? maybe the Raven knows.

Well, well... if I didn't know better (and I don't) I would think that all this weird stuff has something to do with whatever caused Severus Snape to be stuck in a raven's body (Animagus, perhaps?).  And whatever it is seems to be time-dependent, as in short before all returns to normal.  This is all very mysterious, indeed!  And fun!Beth

Great chapter!  Something tells me Binky served that Raven Severus' favorites.  I'm really enjoying this.  So, erm, that means I ready for the next chapter.  And the next. And the next. (yes I appear to be impatient)

Oddly out-sticking feathers on one side of the neck? Please tell me the raven is who I think it is, you have gone too far with the hints now for him being an ordinary raven! But the elf's reaction gives me hope. Thank you!

I wonder when Hermione will realise that Binky knows something about the raven that she does not. Also the line about the scowling raven? Loved it!
