The staff meeting was hilarious! I truly don't envy Minerva. who's finally going to evaluate whom? Narcissa telling Severus on privacy in marriage is spot on. Amazing, how civilised SS can be, I just wonder is it the beginning of Cissy's plot or his frustration/defeat? Will Ginny and Cissy join forces? Many thanks for a great read!!

I have to be honest. I was hoping Lucius was going to open the letter. I don't know why I have the sudden need to see him tortured in an amusing way, but I do.Cissy is such the 'calm in the storm'. Loved it.I really wanted audio for the meeting just so I could laugh more. The sticky notes were brilliant.Severus' heart is breaking. Again I would guess. Love the story. You're the best.

Brilliant! Thank you, Phyllida! Have no fear, though -- Narcissa is a better Slytherin plotter than Severus! Final chapter is due on Friday! Pxx

Still giggling madly imagining the tone in Minerva's voice as she advises Jerry to call Professor Snape 'Sev.' And Lucius' last letter seems to be a masterpiece of understatement. I am sure Hermione will have quite a lot to say when she is in touch! Wonderful comedy and the letters move the plot along without ever missing a beat.

! I'm delighted you enjoyed it. Trying to get that gentle teasing between colleagues into the story was my aim, as wells some slapstick stuff, and (wouldn't be me otherwise) a little bit of deeper feeling.... :) next chapter up soon. Pxx

*snort* *giggle* ROTFLMAO! Love the dating advise. Pre-emptive healing salves will DEFINITELY be in order. ^_^

Oh yes... It's not going to be pretty (but you should see what she did to Lucius first...!). So pleased that you're enjoying it! Pxx

Another wonderful chapter!Oh, so "Sev" used to be in the category 'male' in Hermione's experience--this changes my understanding, but not exactly to his advantage. I bet whenever he learnt about every single of Hermione's preferrences, it was because Hermione reacted similar to his darn potion upon his own failure. Adding Ron and Lucius? Let's hope that this universe is indeed fiction--or you must have a death wish!
Response from Proulxes (Author of Summer School (For The Romantically Challenged))
Lucius was a hoot to write in this story, and it was fun to try to depict him in a comic but in canon character way... more from him later on! Hermione did not take well to having her date interrupted.... Next chapter will be up soon! Pxx

I do hope the queue for the next chapter is short! You have me definitely hooked, thank you for a thrilling story! (What did happen back then? It must have been something major if Harry and Lucius remember so clearly)
Response from Proulxes (Author of Summer School (For The Romantically Challenged))
Hopefully the next chapter will be up on Friday next week! Really pleased you're enjoying this little romp. Poor Severus is going to suffer badly for love.... Pxx

Dear Sev, Can I call you Sev? Minerva said you'd "love it if I did..." LOL! Minerva is having a high old time, isn't she? I love it when she gets up to something.Gracious! Harry is going to have his hands full during his Quidditch training class. "Boom! Boom!" and "Sev" in the same class. The Bludgers are sure to be flying... I wonder if "Sev" will try to jinx the Bludgers so that Jerry will find himself flying for his life? Would he do that? I enjoyed the clever advice Severus gave to Jerry for winning Hermione's affections. But according to Lucius' latest message, things didn't go "quite as we had planned." If Hermione is on her way to see him, and "pre-emptive healing salves may be in order," perhaps his advice to Jerry wasn't as clever as he had hoped it would be. Poor Severus.I have two final questions:•what happened with batches twenty-nine, thirty-one, and thirty-two?and more importantly,•what happened with Severus in 2002?I'm loving this!!! Beth

Along with a more and more delightfully *frustrated* Severus --HA!, I love the fantastic range of writing style and play with punctuation and format that just heaps onto and propels the momentum & pacing of the witty rivalry going on; a truly riveting, whirlwind of dynamics and fun erupting all over the place, all leading to contribute to the *exploding* cauldron--poor Severus, he's in the thick of it in more ways than one! Hahaha!

Thank you, nag!! I'm so happy you liked it - and it hasn't really got going yet... More very soon. I can't see Severus behaving well when he meets Jerry, can you? And there is the matter of Hermione's attraction towards the American Arithmancer too.... Thank you for your review! Pxx

"Gods, you're good. Smug bastard." *gigglesnort* I really love the chain-letter format and you present all the different voices beautifully. So many things to like, including the insufferable Jerry and Severus' mad-scientist turn in the Potions lab! Great fun.

That was delightful! I giggled through the entire chapter. My favorite letter though, by far, was when Severus asked, "What fresh hell is this?"

Oh, let Harry stew for a while still! Ginny knows he deserves it, so she will survive it.However, when he sees Snape after that volatile chain reaction, he might have a field day. A great read once again!
Response from Proulxes (Author of Summer School (For The Romantically Challenged))
Yes, silly chap. He can't help the big brother complex! Hermione will let him off the hook... But why is she becoming more interested in the dodgy American...? Pxx
Response from Bettina (Reviewer)
Well, as Harry is out of bounds, what are her alternatives? One colleague, Flitwick, isn't fully human, others, like Sprout, aren't male. And a certain someone might just as well fall into both these categories ... from her point of view. However I trust (hope??) that she isn't as easily fooled/impressed anymore as she was at the age of 12.
Response from Proulxes (Author of Summer School (For The Romantically Challenged))
Aaaah... Quite... That's the mystery here...! Next chapter will be up on next week and we'll see how things... Er.... Develop..... *giggle* Px

Increased volatility is immediately observed in the potion, a chain reaction is clearly in progress within the—OH BUGGER!I hope Severus cast that 'PROTEGO!!!' in time to keep those activated leptocephali hormones from getting all over him. We wouldn't want him going all slim-headed and transparent now, would we? I'd love to read all the notes he takes with his new Quick-Quote Quill. Perhaps that fact that it records everything it "hears" will help Severus figure out just what happened to set this potion off.Lucius is a true friend, isn't he? How thoughtful to send his buddy a Calming Draught. I can't wait to find out just how "Boom Boom" came to get his nickname. I'm certain there's a good story there... and what has he to do with Severus?Thank you for a very funny chapter!!!Beth

Oh my, what have you cooked up her?! This concoction is highly volatile already with the figures we know and the history you gave them. Adding a Daily Prophet reporter and Mr Boom Boom is calling for disaster. A certain S Snape might find delight in testing his newest creations on you.
