Written for nothingness101, as her SSHG Exchange BINGO prize. She requested: "A slightly fluffy Christmas romance which is a call back to the pureblood Snape of pre HBP. Basic story line about how Snape and Hermione get together, and I'd prefer a post war story. Thinking formal ball(s), formal courting, curtseys, formal address (Lord and Lady), maybe some family jewels (and maybe some Snape family to go with them). Please feature a frisky drunk Snape and lots and lots o' lemons."----I did my best!
AU post OotP, the tale of how Snape and Hermione helped defeat the Dark Lord, how their relationship developed, and how Snape Manor came into play.

I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I can't believe so much jealousy was put out on the table, and yet neither of them seem to recognize it. This was handled with more grace than I've ever seen in this situation. Somehow, I think their game is going to backfire.

I don't know what go think of this mysterious relative and a Snape fortune. Either there is something shady going on, or it is all legitimate but it is going to take a lot of getting used to. Perhaps he'll find someone to share it with. ;). Except they seem to dance around being friends vs something more. I don't know whether the potion they are taking is a good idea or not. But I'm about to find out!

This chapter is full of so many wonderful moments, but perhaps my favorite is where he tells her about his excitement for a possible future and a friend to go with it. It was a lovely exchange.

I love how these two have a slow-growing relationship; it makes it more realistic for me. And if she keeps up her displays of gratitude, he is going to be so wrong-footed, he won't be able to walk.

I swore I wasn't going to start another WIP, but here you are and here I am. Love the concept of this potion already. And that Harry's friends agreed with no question. Especially Ron who would have a much harder time living as a Muggle.

A very good idea, ti buys them more time, and gets rid of the Death Eaters as well, I just hope that Severus isn't one of them.

I'm glad Severus has some family but their was just something off about Lazarus Snape. Loved the shopping trip, it was so like Severus to think nice clothes would not make a diffeence. I could see in my mind that they made a lovely couple. And now onto the ball I bet they will make a grand entrance.

I love your Severous & Hermione sometimes i just like when they get along. Each chapter was so good I could not stop reading till I got to chapter 5. so hence only one review for all chapters, please update soon i have added this stoty to favorites so I don't miss any updates

I really adore this so far. It is like snapshots of an evolving friendship over time, and I just am in love with the way you are writing this.The way that it is slowly evolving from student-teacher to a romantic relationship is very realistic, and it just makes me ache to read more.
