Hermione should take her own advice, and try a little kindness, this can't be easy for Severus, she is his student after all,

I hope this story hasn't been abandoned, it's so good, it would be a shame to let it die.  

They are between a rock and a hard place, aren't they? Knowing these two, common sense will prevail.

I love the last lines in this chapter. It's like Dumbledore knows they're both so smart that they're idiots!  But I think that's a common trait of intelligent people. They DO tend to be stubborn and butt heads and generally that causes arguements.

Aww, I was hoping for a few days before she capitulated.  I mean by then she could have had buttons made up and an anagram and everything!  You know, something like: Further Unwanted Cohabitation Keeps Education Down!

Figure what out?  Hermone could use a little of her own advice, in that she could be  little less judgemental? Hmm?

Great chapter :) I love marriage law fics and this one is a nice change of pace from the way Hermione is usually portrayed falling straight into his arms.  I'm eager for the next update!

Glad to see they are both mortified by the prospect.  Hate it when I read they are forced to marry and suddenly realize they've been secretly in love all along (cuz uh, that's just creepy on Snape's part).

Thank you so much for the update. I really liked that there were no secret crush between either or them, neither any hero-worship (not that I in my wildest dream would have imagined Severus having a secret hero-worship towards Hermione, but I guess you know what I mean:-)) The mutual dislike and recentment are belivable, reasonable and realistic, and most important for me: They are equal in their feelings. I must admit that the one thing I find more annoying than Severus still pining for a girl who left him that many years ago, married his known enemy, was not friend and/or loyal enough to accept an apology, is a Hermione who pines for, and makes herself a doormat to Severus while he stills dreams of what he didnt get. Since they, even if they are soulmates, still have a bit of growing up to do, both of them, I look forward to follow them towards the happy ending. Just promise me if you have Severus declare his undying love for St.Lily and tells Hermione she will never compare to said saint, you will have Hermione walk out the door and out of his life with her head held high while telling him that she wouldn't dream of comming between him and his ghost, but don't he expect her to hang around watching him while doing so. She would look for someone able to love a real person, because she deserves it and because I have read that scenario one time to many and because I would never have accepted someone who compared me to a long time ago dead woman and found me lacking. Sometimes one has to see a lost cause in the eye and move on. Flaming arguments where both of them stands their ground will be more than welcome, as will for them to grow up and together, some hurt and tears I am sure there will be, but taking Lily with him to their shared bed will be unforgivable.

Well... at least they know who their mates are now.  Maybe a compromise can be made.  Excellent update!

Excellent chapter!  Time is really of the essence.  I can't wait to see what kind of responses Hermione gets and her reaction to a certain name on the list.  :)

I'm torn.  Really like the pacing but want more chapters NOW.  I never was very good with delayed gratification.Still going strong.  You are channeling Hermione very well I believe.
