Not exactly, but he is a highly skilled wizard and adept at figuring out things that others might miss. She chose well - mostly. ;)
I'm happy to see that Severus and Hermione are finally on the same page in regards to her condition (it was getting a little dicey there for Hermione lol). I look forward to seeing how he will change her back and how their relationship may change after her stint as his cat. Also, as a side note, I especially like the illustration at the top of this chapter

She gets better at it, but I'm not sure that's a good thing. ;) I am so glad you like the story!
Just read all and have caught up. It seems to me, that there must have been something important in all that "flowery poetry" and side notes in that book! And what kind of manual puts in a way to change and doesn't include a way to change back, if it's not a dark one? It was interesting to watch how Severus seemed to cherish the companionship and affection of "Fluff," before he knew it was Hermione. And he noted how she had been affectionate with him - by curling up with him while he was sleeping. Ergo, he must not be all that bad! Did anyone else hold their breath when Severus said Hermione was his now and always? It will be interesting to see what exactly he meant by that!
