"The issue in question was the (surprising) fact that Severus Snape was Not A Cuddler. Of course, to many, this would not be much of a shock."

Reviews for Surprises
I like how you play with the paradox of surprised vs. not surprised, and the difficulty with which she is attempting to define the situation.
Interesting take on the the happily ever after. I was thinking, she needs to talk to him, and I see my fellow-reviewers feel the same. Hermione is a clever girl, however, and will figure it out.
I don't always want a cuddle after a marathon session, especially if it's summer and hot. Thinking about work the next day and getting the requisite number of hours sleep so I can function is also a consideration. Saying that, she should never give up. Winter is much more conducive to cuddling.

I think most of the emotional trauma could be avoided if she actually discussed it with Severus. Because then he could say "Silly girl! It's summer!" or something of the sort, and she would tear herself apart with conjecture. Thanks for taking the time to review.
Ah! Now, I am not a Cuddler, but when something that seems so insignificant is lacking, it does suddenly become very important, doesn't it? Makes me want to smack some sense into Severus in the worst way.
It is strange how the redundant things in life can be surprising. I agree wholeheartedly.
That being said, and after exchanging a couple e-mails back-and-forth with you, I love how your sense of humor comes out in both of these stories you submitted. It adds a unique flavor and style.

This was an attempt of mine to write seriously, but I am absolutely incapable of not injecting humour. Which I consider a good thing, if slightly infuriating.I imagine if I wrote this piece from Severus' point of view, you may want to slap Hermione upside the head for crowding him. Bloody two sides to everything! Thanks for being my official first TPP reviewer! And as you are TPP. it has a certain wholeness to it that is very satisfying :D
You have a very interesting turn of phrase. Specifically the suprise not suprised thing. My favorite was the part about the knickers though.
