Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

Very nice. I like how one of the background characters gets brought to the forefront.

Thanks. :)

Thanks. :)
Love how just by making him smile you turned Greg Goyle from 'goon' to 'good guy'.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL Poor wee Greg. He just needed a little understanding. :)

LOL Poor wee Greg. He just needed a little understanding. :)
P.S. You deserve a big cookie for "Professor Grumpypants" *Wonders who that might be*
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Hehe, can't say too much. :)
Poor Goyle - but this is very sweet and refreshing! It put a smile on my face :) Although I must confess I find HG's "pet project" obsession a tad frightening, if not to say somewhat terrifying :). Goyle did seem to get more than he bargained for - I'm slightly apprehensive of what will come next! :))))
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL. Poor Greg! :)
that's nice. you made me have sympathy for him, when i've always thought him highly unlikeable, so good job! :D
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Thanks, kitty darling! XX
the sun is shining again!give a smile - get a smilePoor soulKind of you to have him sit down and take a closer look at him. And give Hermione a new project *lol*Isn't she a piece of gold. She really looks at the bottom of things.Oh, this feels good. And he does have potential, well, isn't this a bright day ahead?!Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! :)
The pairing is most unusual but I think I wouldn't mind reading their story. Excellent job as usual.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Thank you. :D
Awww ... he needs a social mentor, she needs a project ... symbiosis at its finest. I do hope, though, that she knows what she is getting into. It will take infinitely more yarn to knit for a dumb piece of muscle than for a house-elf. :)
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL. But she's had lots of practice. Wonder if he likes pink knickers? ;)
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
Oh, man, I'm slipping. That hadn't even occurred to me!
Naw! Poor wee Greg.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Do you think he'd do for the girls who missed out on Blaise? ;)
Response from quaffswinegaily (Reviewer)
Might take a bit of work, but he may be worth it.
Ah, how sweet. Just don't have him crushing over Hermione. She belongs to Severus! *grin* ^_^

Professor Grumpypants? ;)
A project! I wonder if he knows just how happy he made her. (Hopefully she won't knit him any hats). I got my first job ever because of my smile.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Now I'm imagining Greg in a stripey, teacosylike hat! :)
A perfect use of the prompt. Goyle is so underused, both in canon and in fanfic... It's wonderful to see him get a moment to shine.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Thanks for the good idea. :)
Awww sweet. Just the right amount of humor to keep it from going over the line to sickeningly sweet. Perfect. Enjoyed very much!

Didn't want to cause dental decay. Hermione's parents wouldn't have approved. :)
That definitely brought a smile to my face, thank you! But you also put thoughts of HG/GG into my mind.... ;).
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL. I left it open to wherever your imagination takes you. ;)
A Hermione with a project is a happy Hermione, Greg just made her day:-))
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
He sure did. :)
How lucky for Gregory. I could certainly get to like him.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Lots of those type of boys just need a hug and a smile to soften them. :)
Aww... this is so sweet and gentle - perfect! Thanks for giving Goyle some attention and love - the big-hearted Gryffindor lioness is just the person to help him see more of himself than he knows is already there!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Thanks. :)
Good start, Greg! Once some people return his smile, the hunched shoulders will straighten by themselves. Well, almost. I agree that this could be the begnning of a longer story.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
Absolutely. He can stand tall and proud. :)
Loved it.. it would make the wonderful start of a longer story
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
I was tempted, but I must finish my other story! :)
:-)Says it all, doesn't it? Nice to see little glimpses of characters that we don't read about very often, especially from such a sympathetic viewpoint. And now I am smiling too, and I wasn't even there!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL. Every smile is a good thing. :)
Oh, how sweet was that? (And how Hermione was Hermione?)
Response from sunny33 (Author of Smile)
LOL :)
