The Tenant of Lyonesse Hall is on a temporary hiatus. Look for an update in winter 2012!

A lovely ending to a great story!
I think I read this on the exchange, but I'll read on to make sure. :)
Oh, excellent! This joins others on my Keeper list. But what does Livia want with an immortal? Are you planning another story around that premise? ^_^
Now I wonder what Livia's going to do with Cliona! :)
Livia sounds like a tough cookie. :)
Was it, or wasn't it?
Love the last line. So Slytherin! :)
Oh, the pitfalls of trying to communicate while intoxicated. :o
Now I recognise it. Cliona was one badass immortal. :)
Using the mermaid's call. No fair! :)
That's exactly what I thought when I read about the bargain! She could sleep in his bedroom, but he wouldn't be there! Loooooved it! ^_^

Glad you liked that little twist. *g
The only real good that's come of this situation is that in between times, Severus was able to convey to Hermione just how much she means to him. That he does love her - only her - and want her. Hopefully that can give Hermione some strength to fight.

*nods appreciatively* Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the remaining chapters!
I told you he wasn't good with relationships!

Truth, that. *fist bump*
An agonizing chapter. Good job. ^_^

Thank you, dear!
First off, thank you for teaching us the pronounciation of Gaelic. It's beautiful and otherworldly when it's spoken, but for someone not used to reading it or hearing it on a regular basis - it's wretched! Snape really has the trial of Sisyphus in front of him, doesn't he? How in the world is he going to accomplish expelling a mortal and keep Hermione intact in the process? Is he counting on Hermione's logic and self-preservation skills to kick in and aid him from within? I hope it works...

I know, right? I wanted to use the traditional spelling of Cliona but it was just too foreign (yeesh that sounds terrible - but, clarity when reading is important). And indeed, a trial of Sisyphus is a great way of putting the ordeal he's about to go through...
A happy ending! *sighs in relief*
This was a great ending to what was a fun and unique story. I personlly think there is a lot of room for expansion here if you were ever so inclined to write more. I am interested in the specifics of Hermione's job (or ex-job), in the details of exactly what happened to bring them together and then tear them apart, in how she came to save his life, in what Livia plans to do with her new pet. Need I go on?
Great story!
Yikes! Livia makes me appreciate my boss ... a little.
This was a heartbreaking chapter. How could Severus possibly kill her, and how could he possibly not? I do hope these aren't their last moments together.
I hate that Severus and Hermione have to go through this, but at the same time, it is almost as if she is forcing them to address things that really ought to be hashed out if they are to ever have a normal relationship.
In the end, I hope that wasn't really Hermione. If it was, I hope that she can see that he had to assume that it wasn't her. It was the safer course of action, at any rate. Of course, doing the right thing even though it was hurtful would be much easier to swallow if he hadn't been so mean to her prior to the situation.
What am I doing still here talking? I need to know more ... now!
Does Cliona not know that he is Slytherin to the core? Poor guy wouldn't have survived the night if he'd had to join her. I suppose that maybe this will all end up being a good thing, if this is what it takes to get them to admit their feelings and realize that maybe they want the same thing from each other. This continues to be fantastic!
How is he going to make it an entire week? I'm not sure that reliving the past was the best idea for him, but it certainly gave us a little more picture as to what happened. But just a little bit. I am really enjoying this!
Thank goodness Severus is such a strong wizard. He is surely going to be put to the test with this one. I love that he could tell immediately that it was not Hermione. How is he ever going to get her back?!?! Guess I'll go find out ...
Oh, I love the dynamic between Snape and Hermione here. There are so many questions about what happened, and only bits and pieces of answers.
And then the end is a bit unnerving. I am now glad that real life caused me to take a brief hiatus from reading this. I don't have te deal with any cliffhangers!
Off to find out more ...
This was a very interesting introduction to Hermione's boss and Lucius' twin sister. Despite some of their differences, the family connection is clear. Hopefully she can offer some help!
So Lucius has a twin sister and Hermione works for her. How... intriguing. ^_^
Oh, how sad! I hope Livia can help somehow.
