Hermione's genuine smile of delight had surprised Severus. She was happy to see him... Hmm... How very odd and disconcerting. Highly disconcerting indeed. Severus Snape, Hermione Granger, and one naughty, naughty pearl button.

Love. Love. Love it!!!
Read this multiple times in the past and still absolutely love it. Makes me smile every time.
Fate was never kind to Severus but I'll bet Hermoine will be. This is fun! I smiled when I thought of it for days after I read it. I can just picture that button.

Thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed my little, story.
Loved it! Who knew? Severus Snape, a button man! ;)
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Ha-ha, indeed.
I was so excited to see a continuation of the original oneshot. Your Severus is so charming, while still remaining undeniably Slytherin. This is wonderful writing - thanks for sharing!!!
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you so very much.
Only ONE man gets to have all that fun! LOL! Charming story!
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Ha-ha. Yup, Severus doesn't like to share.
I LOVE this story! It has romance, humor and sex, who can anything go wrong with that combo! Thanks for the great read!

Thank you so very much for the wonderful review.
What a breathtaking story!

Yay! Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
Poor Severus never had a chance! :)
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Ha, ha. Indeed.
I have seen this happen. I have seen this with clothes that have cutouts, or other types of holes, in innocuous areas like the shoulder. Men become intrigued with what they just can't quite see, but desperately hope to if only conditions were right.I lead a team of 20+ people now, and every year at orientation we talk about unacceptable clothing choices and holes are one of them (along with too tight, hooker-wear, disco-wear, too short, too sloppy, etc.).I have also seen situations like Hermione's where clothes that fit one way standing up, fit a different way when you sit down. It looks great in the mirror but gapes when you sit down or lean forward. My advice to the ladies on my team is always "if the goods aren't for sale, don't put them in the window." And since none of the men with whom they interact are men they want to attract, this phrase typically has them dressing more conservatively.I am glad you wrote the story so that Severus is a consultant and not an employee. This way there is no risk of fraternization being frowned upon. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Thank you.
Sexy and funny, especially the rating of dubious consent. LOL! (And you made me wonder whether SS considers himself a homosexual...;)...)

Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
Quite maddening for Severus, and a charming story. I LIKE this Severus very much and would welcome more stories set in THIS alternate universe:)Brava!Fizzabella

Thank you.
I loved it! Very well written!
Cute and funny story, thanks for sharing! Will there be a sequel to see how their "date" goes?
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you. There is actually a part two to this story, but it is very Christmassy and I hesitated to post it since Christmas is long gone now.
This is a great piece of writing. I loved all the focus on that one little button. I found myself just waiting for it to pop!
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you very much.
Cute! Nothing comes simple for Severus - he always has to complicate everything.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Yup, especially when fate tries to make him happy.
Delightful, I laughed aloud! Thanks for writing and sharing. Cheers

Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
What fun! I'm pretty sure this cannot remain as a single story. This version of them was endearing and I'd love to see more. So the next installment can be Golden Zipper. Or Lacy Undies. Or Birthday Suit. Wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Save that one for chapter five ;) Fun and funny. I liked this a lot.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you. Ha, ha. Lacy Undies you said - I shall start writing.
Such torment from a simple button. Well done.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you.
Forgot to add - why the heck is there an R rating on this story? Very misleading.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
M rating is for language and insinuation. As a mother, I think it should stay. Sorry.
Response from maria (Reviewer)
No need to say sorry, it's your story. However if you take a look at other HGSS stories posted here, the M rating is entirely out of place for a story as mild as this. 'Shit' and 'cleavage' are not M worthy.
Charming and so well written! But why the 'dubious consent' warning? I happen to enjoy dubious consent and non-con stories - which is one reason I read this - so I'm rather disappointed this was so fluffy. But still charming.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Sorry for the "dubious" content warning - just removed it.
LOL, this was cute. Poor Severus, hardly... ahem, no pun intened... able to contain himself.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Blame it on the pearl button.Thank you.
LOL! Apparently Hermione is a master of more than just Potions. Me thinks she'll master Severus as well.*grinning*Beth
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Of course, she is remarkably clever girl.
That's a lovely story. I hope you will write about their lunch.
Response from Savva (Author of Pearl Button)
Thank you very much.
