I loved it! I admit it made me a bit teary eyed that Harry thought they had died all those years ago. Maybe they will build a new friendship since they are returning to be near the boys? Like maybe a sequel? 

I will not admit to having wept since that would be rather embarrassing but what a lovely tale and what a gifted writer you are. Please keep writing. 

This is a wonderful ending to a very lovely and moving story. I love that Severus and Hermione made a new life for themselves , that Harry understood and that Phineas covered for them.

This is beautiful and wonderfully intense.Right now, my heart is breaking for both of them.I love that Minerva knows. At least Severus has one friend at Hogwarts, and it never made sense to me that she turned so quickly against him in canon. ~dashes to next chapter~

I loved the typical Snape saying I love you, by not actually saying it. You also managed to convey their sense of desperation in difficult times.But , you know, the person I realy felt for was Harry. To have lost his best friend at the end of the war, then to find her again two decades later, changed and happy, but not part of his life. That made me sad.

I've read this before but for some reason I hadn't marked it as read.  So even though I realized I'd read it before I kept on reading because it's a lovely story and something nice for Snape.

Beautiful and just the way it should have been.  You've made me a very happy reader, completely satisfied with the outcome, and that this is easily open to a sequel... Hummm.*I haz no subtlety*  LOL!Thank you for introducing us to Severus' and Hermione's sons.  They're fine young men.  And am I correct in thinking that Hermione is having another baby?  If so, well done!I'm delighted that they are moving back to England to be closer to their children.  They obviously love them very much, and I think Jasper is the cutest first-year.  I think his becoming friends with Albus Potter would be a good thing.Thank you again for sharing this wonderful tale.  Beth

It's so sad how very little Severus can think of himself despite being faced with so much love around him.  I imagine Hermione being quite desparate and almost wishing she could have threatened him with committing suicide if she found out he died as in retaliation to not surviving.  But she is much too stubborn to commit suicide or even threaten it no matter how much she loves him.

Such passion and such fear.  Well done. :)
