Twentysomething lover of Harry Potter fic. I have served as a beta (btw, i am P.I. accredited) for many authors, and welcome the opportunity to do more. I also serve as co-moderator of the LJ community ptterpr0nprmpts along with the fantabulous tonksinger.
I've been around the fandom for a long time... probably since 2003. I've spent most of it lurking, but published some stories under an old pseudonym. Upon entering the fandom, I immediately became a fan of the Snape/Granger pairing. I prefer Hermione to be a bit older, but have been known to deviate from that preference. Other ships that I prefer include Draco/Ginny, Draco/Harry, Snape/Lupin, and Snape/McGonagall. I am open to most ships and recommendations, as ultimately it is this universe that I love.

This is a great story. It is the best story I have read in a long time. I love romantic comedy and this is hitting all the right buttons for me. Draco is great and funny. SS/HG lovely characterizations. I read it straight through in one sitting. I look forward to more. Ta, Kat

I googled poutine since I never heard of it before... looks... interesting. I can understand how Severys can be put out by it! Thank you for the info on Hermione's outfit. Gret look. Another great chapter and waiting patiently for updtes!

Yay! Molson, my second favorite beer! Hermione really must stop being so anal retentive about stupid things like taking one flower. A book from a public library, I could understand freaking out about, but a flower taken from a plant that will regenerate another in an adjacent spot, on a plant that will not die nor scream because it is missing a blossom - is just utterly ridiculous! And I just loved when she asked him what he was hungry for, he replied "food".
And here, I thought I was the only one who ever gave that reply!!!

Ok, this chapter was too funny to not take a quick break from reading. A drunk Snape is rarely a bad thing. Expecially since he usually reveals some things he wouldn't otherwise.I got a kick out of this attempt at being muggle:he dug in his computer desk for a sticky note and a permanent marker, scrawled Granger a note, stuck it to his owl, and sent her on her way.The end was nice as well with Draco and Hermione coming to an understanding. Puggle! Ha! Cracks me up.

It's cute how awkward they are with each other on this date. Hopefully they can loosen up a little bit. Severus' anxiety is very tangible. What kind of flower was it that Severus stole for Hermione? Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for sharing.

Yours is the second fic I've read about Snape being a perfume maker. I guess it goes hand-in-hand with being a potions maker since he's got all the right ingredients, anyways.

it may be the connection to the alan rickman movie "perfume"... but honestly, he wasn't the perfumer in that. i just like the idea.
