Reviews for Hilltop Chronicles
Snicker! As Harry says, like father like son.
Oh dear! Two Snape glares in one household. I'm not sure the world's ready to cope with that.
That's our Severus. Cast iron on the outside, but squidgy as a good chocolate truffle inside.
D'aaaaaw.... This is so tremendously sweet! Rather lovely, and frighteningly domestic, and you might be in league with my mother to make me have children before "its too late," but I don't care even if you are, because you've made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and now I want to go hug everyone. Cheezy but true.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Hugging is good!! I always think a hug is very healing, so go for it!
This couldn't be any sweeter! I just adore daddies and their little girls. Poor little jealous Donovan. The Pensieve was a great idea. I laughed when Donovan was looking for the remote control. I also loved that Hermione put an adult only memory in the pensieve for Severus, and even more that Donovan tried to dive right in and view it. It probably won't be the last time he almost sees something he shouldn't :)Harry coming to take the kids was such a nice gesture. It was endearing that Severus was reluctant to let her go, but in the end, he really needed the rest. I, too, enjoyed the irony of the three of them ending up asleep on the sofa. Wonderfully done. I hope there is more in the future.

There eill be, but not yet. Thanks for being so kind!
This is the perfect look at family life with a new born. I love Severus' reaction to his baby girl. Good job with how they dealt with Donovan reaction to being ingored.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Thank you!
This is even better than waiting for the baby. I had a very long day (in fact three very long days) and it warmed my heart and my brain to read this.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Thank yu, sweetie. Glad to be of service!
This is so sweet. I adore Severus getting all mushy about Hermione and his children. You really took me back more than 35 years when you had Harry pop through the Floo and offer to take the children so Hermione and Severus could have some alone time and maybe even forty winks.I think Severus getting their won Pensieve was a stroke of brilliance. It sure seemed to mean a lot to Donovan to be able to see his parents with him when he was a baby. What child doesn't want to see home movies of themselves and their family... and a Pensieve is even better than movies. Thanks again for this lovely look at the lives of my favorite characters and their children. You really are a very special author.Hugs, Beth

Thank you so much, you're very kind.
‘Daddy! Mummy wet herself!’ This had me roaring with laughter. Just like a four year old. Can't wait to see what'll be going on next with Donovan and Ciara, and Mum and Dad.Beth
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Thanks so much. It will be a while yet.
Sweet.
This was really cute. I don't know who will be more protective, Severus or Donavan.
As ever it's just as sweet and perfect as I dreamt it would be.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Thanks so much x
This was so sweet, and fit just perfectly with all of the other Hilltop moments. You must have been through the experience of telling a four year old that they are going to have a baby brother or sister because you've got the response spot on: fourteen seconds of curiosity, twelve seconds of excitement, and then on to the next topic which has nothing to do with babies.I'm so glad that Severus is around for the birth and the first year this time. He may well be upset when he realizes how much of Donovan's life he missed out on, and maybe some guilt knowing that all of the sleepless nights were endured by her alone the first time around. But I think in the end, pure joy will abound. If I'd had a wand, I would have totally subscribed to the Severus Snape school of cheating. It would have saved me countless hours of the misery that is Chutes and Ladders (or as I call it, the game that never ends).I hope there is more to come from our happy family. I'm eating up every moment of their existance.

I only have one child (not through choice! But that's not fanfiction material!) however, I do have a neice who I have watched avidly since she was born. The way children adapt fascinates me no end! Thanks for reviewing x
lol

:) hehe.... I don't think I have ever recieved such a short review, but thank you!
Loved the Hilltop Cottage and now LOVE the Hilltop Chronicles. Thank you for continuing such a great story.

Thank you!
I'll admit I skimmed Severus' childhood. I just cant handle the angst. Thank you for give Albert another little boy to cuddle. I promise to ready any little one shots in this Hilltop world. I love it too!
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
I understand the skipping - I cried when I was writing it, it was that bloody hard... walk away from the screen, take a breath, have a cuppa... sod the cuppa, GIVE ME VODKA!lol... It was necessary. Anyway - glad you enjoyed the parts you did read x
I'm so glad that you decided not to let them go completely. I just realized how much I missed them since the end of their story. I will look forward to any new tidbit of their life that you will be kind enough to grace us with.
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
Well, the whole thing completely overtook my life for a while there, so it's hard to say goodbye!
Yay! My magic spell has worked on you. You will never be able to leave the Hilltop Cottage world... ever. Muahahaha! This was just lovely. What a sad childhood Severus suffered. But it is good to know that he is set on changing things. That will make him that much better of a daddy. I will admit amongst the sadness, I enjoyed the flying Batman bear.I thought it was a particularly poignant moment when he stitched Albert back together, because it is what his mother would have done. How cute were mini Severus and Hermione in Donovan and curly-haired Megan heading out back into the garden? And a new baby...sigh. Perhaps Hermione has a teddy bear from her childhood to give this child. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a girl :)
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
lol... I'm happy to wallow in Hilltop Cottage forever, really! Thanks for the kind comments - it was particularly difficult to write Severus' childhood and I cried myself more than once, but it was so important to show Albert's origins and just how much he meant to little Severus. You're right, Psychic
Response from neelix (Author of Hilltop Chronicles)
