Hey, I'm Meda. I am, as anyone would tell you, utterly insane. I'm usually to be found writing, banner making, shouting at misbehaving characters, writing at 4am, and pretty much always simultaneously having at least 3 conversations. If you happen to see me at 6am on a school day I might even be doing homework. Maybe.
I write a lot about Andromeda Black, quite a bit about Severus Snape (although I'm not sure if I will put that up here) and bits and pieces of other things as they come to mind.
I'm an admin at another hp fanfiction site, DungeonLight.com, and we would like a visit if you're looking for more places to put your work.

That was absolutely incredible! I was looking for something totally different. I would have never seen the title and chosen a story about this person. I kept clicking the random story button over and over. I found nothing that I hoping for. But then, I read the first sentence. Suddenly you had me against my will! Extremely artfully written with beauty of an eloquent word smith.
I read this this morning, sighed as it settled around me, and then had to think about it before I could review. It all comes down to the choices we make and whether we're willing to pay the price, doesn't it? If Rowena and Helena had both been less entrenched in their positions, they might have found a solution other than both their deaths.I'd be interested in knowing, though, what her thoughts about the Bloody Baron might be. Since they both became Hogwarts ghosts, there must not have been complete indifference between them.

Yes, it's all about choices... But did Helena make a good or bad choice? I can't decide. After all, according to her it was eternal shame and condemnation or life as a ghost. As to the Bloody Baron, I personally think what happened was something like this: he liked her (she was, after all, beautiful, and clever in her own right, although not in comparison with her mother) and she encouraged him because it annoyed Rowena. Then she went off him (he doesn't seem to be a very pleasant character, on the whole), and he got mad because she'd used him and ended up killing her. After they were ghosts, it's hard to say what happened between them. She went to Hogwarts initially in search of her mother, and stuck around partly because it had always been her home and partly because she was keeping an eye on it for Rowena, as she says. He probably followed her in the first place, but I'm not sure exactly why he stayed. After all, The Grey Lady seems to be very remote, I don't think she showed any more interest in him. She's pretty good at thinking people are beneath her, she was brought up to it. So, yes, that's my take on it... it got a bit long, sorry.
