The Errant Italian
Chapter 8 of 11
Ladymage SamikoYoung Nessa comes to her parents for help in locating a missing Italian.
The Errant Italian
“Mummy!” The wail only barely anticipated running feet. Hermione, enjoying some time in Severus’s lap, disengaged herself just enough for decency.
“What’s wrong, Nessa?” she asked the crying eight-year-old.
“I can’t find San Lorenzo di Medici!” little Nerissa hiccoughed.
“Now, dearest…” Hermione smoothed rampant curls. “You’re well able to find him yourself, you know.”
Owl-eyed, Nerissa objected, “But the law, Mummy…”
Severus shot his wife an amused look. “Bug—“ he began, then coughed. “It doesn’t apply in emergencies, Nessa.” Anyway, the house was warded.
Nessa, though unconvinced, obediently recited, “Accio San Lorenzo!”
The errant teddy bear flew into her hands.
A.N.—I've given my own stuffed toys some very elaborate names in my time. Such as Perseus Wilbur Irving… Pig. Still not quite sure where I picked up the Irving… I'd've given San Lorenzo an even longer name, but, well, drabble. Cheers! (^_^)

Great version of,the family you create in this universe!
Yup, still love these snippets with Hermione, Severus and eight daughters:-))
I have 2 daughters 5 yrs apart. The oldest is the other mother. It worked great until the youngest turned about 15. Then all of her teenaged angst was directed toward her sister rather than her parents who were the voice of reason compared to her sister's attempts at running her life. They are not at all a like and still have some bumps in their relationship. The oldest would die for her little sister but I don't believe that feeling is mutual.
Have they never heard of contraceptive potions, charms, spells or plain old muggle birth control? These things can be prevented. Were they trying for a boy? Is Hermione one of those women that never felt better than when she's pregnant? She escaped the clutches of Ronald Weasley. Does she want to be Molly? I can't imagine her as a stay at home mom. Do they have house elves? I would demand at least 2 house elfs!
Nine daughters? OMG! The drama would kill a less courageous wizard. Hell, it would kill me! And Hermione spending 9 years of her life pregnant? OMG! again! Even if there are 4 sets of twins that's 5 years of her life pregnant! Just kill me now! I hope Severus and Hermione have a lot of money for how much it costs to keep daughters. Just the hair products alone is a small fortune. Hopefully, your proven skills as a story teller will help me see how this could be anything less than my worst nightmare.
This is exactly how a sensible man in a house of women would need to be.
HAHAHAHA !!! that was AWEsome :D
They sealed their fate when they laid hands on Severus and Hermione Snapes daughter.
Tiberius, Cpt. James T. Kirk's middle name.
I do love Granger-Snape offspring. In the real world it would be chaos, but in the magical world of SS/HG it is lovable!
Well I guess if all my kids were so gifted it would be less worry, but they sure get into a lot of trouble.
You go girl!!! Snape baby indeed!
Warded is best for millions of reasons.
Like puppies climing all over their mum! I'm glad the parents are laughing. Really glad. The idea of owning 9 daughters is dark enough.
Bahahahaha!
I loved every one of these drabbles. I believe that you captured the essence of Snape and Hermione within their daughters beautifully. It was really a total pleasure to read these stories. I plan on making my way through all your stories now. It's really great to read these - some fun - after Hurricane Irene. Cheers! (:
OMG! Absolutely loved it. Thanks.
Fluffy =]
Wonderful! And the name wouldn't have anything to do with Tribbles?
Ha! I think the name, whether it be for stuffie or pet, is in inverse relation with the size of it. The teddy bear? Santo Lorenzo Ignacio di Medici e Napoli and so on. The pet elephant? Joe. Perhaps Bo. (My teddy bear is named Edward, but he's a pretty large bear for the little kid I was) Your drabbles have been very sweet, and I especially like the... sixth, was it? Protecting their daughter from the 7th-year Lothario- good wording! Of course Severus would be protective, in the "Young man what exactly are your intentions towards my daughter" way, but heck if Hermione would let him do the burying alone. *grin*
adorable! thanks
Cool name. :)
She's got to learn from her own mistakes. :)
I've really enjoyed reading this little drabble series and my rating is for the entire series. Thank you. ^_^
*smile* Lovely girl
