It's nine years post war. Hermione has just had a traumatic break-up with her fiance, Theodore Nott. Hurt and disillusioned with her life, she retreats to a cottage in rural Ireland that she inherited from a great-aunt. You'll never guess who else has been living a peaceful life in the Muggle world in the same small village for the past eight years.

I am a Harry Potter fanfic fanatic, I only discovered it after the release of DH. Disapointed that the series was ending, I read some blurb about fan fiction (which I had never heard of before) clicked a link and 'voila' I was hooked. I started out reading mostly Dramione, but evolved and although I still like DM/HG, my OTP is SS/HG. I also enjoy reading LM/HG and 3-somes with SS/HG/LM or DM/HG/BZ. As you can see I love seeing Hermione paired with those lovely Slytherin men.
After reading for nearly 2 years, I started writing a bit of my own, mostly shorter drabbles or ficlets. I've written seveal stories for fests, such as the SS/HG exchange, the LM/HG exchange, and the LuciusBigBang, fest among others.

I have a personal love of stories containing cottages, Severus and Hermione, so this is right up my street. I also live in ireland, so it's even better! Wish he lived in my village, come to think of it! Will read on with interest.

Oh I want to visit Ireland so much, it's on my list of must-do things. My great-grandparents on my dad's side both came from Ireland. Hmmm... have you checked your local pubs lately, maybe there is a tall, dark, mysterious pub owner with former Death Eater leanings. :)
*whines out loud* I want to live at Bluebell Cottage and be a erotic fiction writer! *ends whining*I like where I think this story is going. Update soon.

Excellent chapter! I have a feeling I know who the owner of the Green Dragon is but I'm not going to say anyting unitl my suscpions are confirmed :)

Interesting beginning. It seems that Draco's love for Luna is forshadowing Snape's love for Hermione? Or visa versa?Boy, Theo turned out to be a real slut-puppy! Glad she found out sooner rather than later.

So we shall see. ;)And yes, Theo is a real dirt-bag in this fic. Hey, someone has to play the bad guy, right? LOL
Great start! I love how she got Draco for a laywer and stuck it Nott and those idiots at the Ministry lol I can't wait to see what happens next. Five stars all around :)

Thanks so much! I loved that Draco took her case too and did such a good job for her, I think he's grown up and changed since their Hogwarts days,(he had an axe to grind with Theo for past wrongs as well).The story is complete in 12 chapters so as soon as one chapter gets through the queue I will post the next. :)
